It's only been a month and a half since comic creator Ed Piskor committed suicide. But this week we've all been reminded comics will never change. Days and weeks like this make me hate comic books. The fact that the Eisner nomination committee are placing Ed Piskor and one of the people he named in his suicide note up for awards in 2024 is truly devastating. But in reality nobody with any real power or sway in comics, outside of Mark Millar, seemed to even care about Piskor's suicide.
