- In this video, Pete Thorn explains how easily you can reamp over USB with the Helix amp and effects processor if you are using it as your audio source and your audio interface.

I love my Helix LT for this reason, and LOVE using my Helix Native to simply load a plugin onto the DI recording.
This way they guitar tone is "already there" and I don't have to re-record / reamp into a new track which takes time.

I really enjoy using programs like Amplitude 5, but there is something about a multi fx unit that makes it more like using an amp and pedals. It is nice having a piece of gear to tweak instead of just plugged into the computer.

Hello, why does the DI USB 7/8 ONLY RECORD ONE CHANNEL? there is no stereo?
I’m using XLR outputs of my LT via my sound card (Roland Octacapture) which give a stunning sound cause the Roland preamps add a pleasant color that I particularly love ..
how would sound the Helix via USB compared to the stereo XLR outputs.?

Fantastic! How do you record your desktop audio with the helix? ( I am using Ableton, I have my guitar on 7 the mic on 8, but I can't figure out how to record the "RUclips jamming track" in to the live. Hope it makes sense and very much appreciated any input.
Can I cycle through my presets ? Without manually changing each input for reamping.Can I set all inputs Globally ? Thanks
