So currently I am owning a Dlink Dir 615(2.4ghz) and I have a 90mbps plan but I get network issues and I have many devices connected to my network amd I am finding a proper dual band router(preferably Dlink models) to replace with old one I searched online about this router and found pretty bad reviews on this crashing abruptly.Evenif I change to this router will it change my wifi password. Is it worth it or no?
This is a good router. I have been using this for an over a year now. No abrupt switch off or crashing or overheating or any issue till date. It is on 24x7. We write reviews usually when we face issues with a product. All the happy users don’t take the pain to leave a review. It is a dual band router and works very well with my 30Mbps plan and I have no reason to complain. Around 5-6 devices (including laptops) stay connected to it round the clock. You can keep the same WiFi password without changing it. It’s worth it as far as my usage is concerned.
It could be because of your ISP or your device speed. My router works very well 24x7 without restart. I get 34Mbps all the time which is the speed limit offered by my ISP.

Yeah of course you can. Just make sure the cables are not too long (greater than 70m) or the signals will start degrading.
Any disconnects or random reboots after updating to the latest firmware? Amazon is filled with negative reviews for this router.
Can’t comment on that. I have not faced any such issue so far. Mine works flawlessly round the clock.
