Like, they'll literally miss the gnarliest clips without saying anything about them. I mean, I understand why they do it, but it sucks nonetheless.
100% there's been a few times they've started chatting and missed an absolute banger that needs all the props! Also just breaking down the minor details that you'd miss on the first watch was great

Skateboarding is it's own entity, it defines itself and isn't remotely valued by the outside judgement or impression. Skateboarding stands on its own, with no help. It's that unique, it's that original and that powerful all on it's own. If anything the Calvin Klein, Mercedes, and kooky collabs are detractors and feeding off the momentum of skateboarding.
These collaborations bring skateboarding into a whole new realm. I agree that skateboarding doesn't NEED any of this validation and as long as it doesn't feel exploitative, then I'm all for the collabs. Just keeps pushing skateboarding forward, gets skaters more money and new opportunities. It's beautiful
