I rarely listened Santoor but after listening Pandit Sopori ji I feel like to listen such Roohdari . Its very difficult to create to create Raga ras & show its Swaroop on such instruments but hats off to Pandit Sopori ji for making the Santooor sound so divine. Thanks for this wonderful performance.
lots of regards to you panditji...incredible combination of layakari,chandkari mainaining the beauty of raag and divinenss...akaram ji is one of the best tabla sangatkars perfectly maintaining the flow of presentation..regards to both the maestros.
Raga Gawati & Bheem are very close in its structure but are 2 different ragas. Though some Gharanas treat it same but Bheem & Gawati both have their independent structures just like Marwa & Puriya. Even the time of rendition is different where Bheem is a morning / afternoon raga and Gawati is an evening raga.
I don't know what happened ... but at some point in the middle I think I closed my eyes ..and all visuals went off ... from then on ... it was only Raag Gavati and the dancing fairies from heaven ... I could see them actually !!!! ...
