Excellent video! Had a large ceramic piece lodged in the impeller area but the impeller was undamaged. Cleared it, cleaned it and it seems to be fine. The unit would twist off so I removed the whole assembly which was very easy. Have to clean up the water now. Thanks.
Did your drum motor smell like an electrical burn smell. I'm hoping mine was just the drain pump overloading the drum motor. Now that I'll be replacing the drain pump motor, im hoping the drum motor will be fine. If it continues with that electrical burn smell, ill just replace it. Recommendations? Thanks!!
Howdy! I don't recall exactly where the nickel was. If yours is draining ok, but not spinning, if say the pump is pumping and there may be something else holding out the spin cycle. Thanks!
Howdy! I usually find the parts on Repairclinic.com. There may be some alternatives out there but you should at least be able to get a correct part number from them. Thanks!
Mine has a set screw in the base of the isolator that keeps the pump from spinning. You have to take the whole thing out first and remove the screw before it will spin loose
@@aaronsrose Thank you for quick response. Washer is giving the ND code for Not Draining. I cleaned the water tube out - no clogs! I removed the drain pump/motor but not sure what to look for to see if damaged. Should i just go forth and replace to see if it's the issue?
That is a good question. I would expect that it should unlock if the power cord is unplugged. If that does not work, there may be something stuck in the latch. Possibly a thin shim might be able to wiggle behind the latch and free it.
@@aaronsrose I got the door open by unplugging the wire, open the top, stick my hand down to the lock and push it out. But now my washer won’t open when I plug up the wire, and it won’t spin or drain. Makes light buzz sound. Not sure what’s going on.

I need to replace my pump. Looks like it’s the same model number. Any recommendations as to wear to buy a good replacement pump?

Explanation done very well on how to se it up; were did you find the motor for that price?
Howdy! It's been awhile but I usually find the correct part on repairclinic.com and then try to find it cheaper on Amazon or wherever I can. Thanks!
I have water at the inlets but the washer isn’t getting water

Did washer give you any codes when it started to act up? I have the same washer model and started give me the ND code.
Howdy! It's been awhile but I don't recall any codes prior to their failure. Thanks!

I'd say that if everything looks clean, is try the pump replacement it it were mine.
Mr. Rose I did change the pump but something went wrong with the installation, then I did instal again and did not work anymore
How can I unlock the door?

Was there a Filter? Or did you take the rubber piece that goes to drum and clean that out?
Iirc, there was no filter as such. I think there was a screen built into one of the pump couplers. Thanks!
