See that guys? I DID make a sequel! Subscribe to see me try it in Create Aeronautics ;) Edit: I’d like to reiterate that I had nothing to do with the OceanGate incident
For the sinking and floating part, did you try using deployed that would place or remove balloons and/or ballasts? I'm not sure if these work with VS stuff but it's something I thought of
The submarine started to float when you added the tanks, because the tanks were empty which made them buoyant and since they were connected with your submarine it also made buoyant. The tanks buoyancy force was strong enough to make the submarine overcome gravity, thus making it float. I am only at 8:26 rn so I don't know if you figured it out later
So I thought of that too, I actually fully filled the tanks with water and it had no effect, so maybe it just doesn’t calculate how full they are? (I even tried using create tanks which would be completely full with water for the boiler and it did nothing) so I call this an error in Eureka’s calculations. Thanks for your thoughts!
@@thesavagenarwhal idk if this actually makes a difference, but if what I've heard is correct, boiler tanks are actually always empty. They will take as much water as you try to put in them and just check to make sure the flow is enough. This could be wrong but I was wiki surfing for other reasons and saw something along those lines a little while ago.
@@thesavagenarwhal A bit late but a quirk of how the create steam boilers work is that they never actually hold water like tanks, they just take fluid inputs, so that might be why.

Well, to fix your problem with the sinking and floating, by assembling and disassembling heavy stuff with mechanical bearings. Also, I really recommend using encased chain drives, they can be really useful and compact, if you kinda know how you're gonna use them.
I also thought about making a submarine and I have an idea how to breathe underwater. You need a mechanism that will brew underwater breathing potions and use a pump to pump the potion into a liquid tank that will play a kind of buffer, then pipes and pumps will go from the tank to the compartments of the submarine.
There is Clockwork which aims to bridge Valkyrien Skies and Create, but it is still very much in Beta at the moment. That'll definitely help with the propulsion system, and maybe even some other mechanical bits.

Loved the video @TheSavageNarwhal! Can't wait for the next video man! First video of yours that I'm watching and Loving the content man! There's two new Mods for Valkyrien Skies; Clockwork which is by Triode who came up with Valkyrien Skies and then Tournament which is by a Russian guy for the Valkyrien Skies Community! Those might solve your Problems with the Submarines for both Design and Armament as in Tournament you have what's called a "Blaze Thruster" which is a Blaze Burner in Jet Engine form! So here's what I'm thinking for your Submarine. Make it a bit Smaller so that you can Have a Lower Profile or Silhouette when on the Surface but still large enough to have maybe 4 Torpedo Tubes at the Bow/Front and 1 at the Stern/Back. Now the only thing that I can figure for Torpedoes is that you might be able to use either the Fan from Create Mod with a Gearshift and Redstone to power it or you use the Blaze Thruster from Tournament with Redstone to power it (Which would be Super fast and Out of Render Distance before you could see where it went) with an Observer facing the Direction of a Rope Pulley from Create Mod or something to Hold it in the Tube until you're ready to fire. To keep the Torpedo in a Moving Pattern and at a Certain Depth, you might want to look at the Flap Bearings from Clockwork and Have them come into play so that the One's on the Top and the Bottom control it's "Steering" and the One's on the Left and Right sides control the Depth. Also, For the Tanks in Create Mod to act like that.... Let me put it this way, That's not How Ballast Tanks are Supposed to work! I've got something that might be a bit easier for you (At least I Hope it is). MC Military Force just uploaded a Build Tutorial on the American AAVP-7A1 or just the AAV-7 to his Channel. If you can make it Work with the Create Mod, Create Big Cannons, Valkyrien Skies, Eureka, Clockwork, Tournament and the Physics Mod for the Waves, I think we in the Create Mod and Valkyrien Skies "Lineage" Communities might be in Business. Just be sure to at least try the Engine from Tournament and have plenty of Strawberry Frosting for fuel, yes I know it's weird, Even polartt said that it was pretty much a Waste of Sweets when he was looking Tournament over on his Channel! But here's the Test: After you've Checked the Vehicles Seaworthiness, you'll need to Bring some Players to Man these Guys as well as some Players to fight Alongside them as Troops being Transported by the AAV's. The Builds will be about 5 Blocks wide since it's in 1.5:1 Scale (read as 1.5 to 1 Scale) so they're a bit larger than they should be in Real life. You'll need to Build up a Village in Minecraft for this because you and Your Troops will be Defending a Village from a Village Raid. The best for this is to go through all 4 Levels. So the First Time is a Level 1 Raid, then a Level 2, Level 3 and finally a Level 4 Village Raid. On top of all this, the Players will be Dressed and Geared for the Part with Leather Armor Dyed to look like Combat Uniforms, Enchanted Bows or Crossbows for the Rifles, Light Machine Guns and Anti-Armor Weapons, and Enchanted Tools for Entrenching or Close Quarters Combat. When you get to arming the AAV's with Create Big Cannons, use the Autocannons since they have a 40 millimeter Grenade Launcher and an M2 Browning .50 Caliber Machine Gun. The Grenade launcher will fire the Fused Rounds and sits a bit lower than the M2 Machine Gun which will fire Fuseless rounds. Both will have a Single Block long Barrel for the sake of the Create Big Cannons Mod. I'll see if I can come up with something for the Dyes for the Armor and the Enchantments for the Tools as well as Firework Recipes for your "Anti-Armor" Ammunition for the next video man. Let me know what you think about all this and I'll catch you later!
The idea around the torpedoes is great, apart from the fact that they will not work outside of loaded chunks. Luckily there are many chunkloaders, with some being specifically designed for Create. These could be used to keep the torpedoes loaded for long ranged attacks. Another key problem with this submarine is the ocean depth. A mod related to increasing the depth of the oceans could be incredible in this situation. Finally, I am not sure if observers work with VS. I haven't tried Clockwork yet, however, so the observers could work - just not sure. Overall I think the ideas of implementing some of these other mods could really make this submarine much better.
What version are you using for big cannons and Valkyrie skies? I play with Valkyrie skies, eureka, create, and create big cannons. All 1.18.2 and the cannons work on airships

Well funny enough i made one of these before, not exactly this but something similar, its also funny since i also have terrible vehicle building skills but this did give me some ideas, so it gets 5 cheburekis out of 5 brikis

Yeah, I’m using the 1.18.2 versions of Create, Eureka, and Val Skies. I should mention I did get them to load once and then it wouldn’t turn into a vessel. I may have to do more testing to get it to work. Thanks for the feedback!
