Please be mindful when buying these oils some of these brands have added ingredients in the oils and they aren’t just the oil on its own there’s a whole bunch of other ingredients and fillers that are unnecessary the brand that you showed I’m not sure if they still do it but I remember purchasing that brand a few years ago and they did have fillers in the ingredients now when I go to purchase oils I make sure that the only ingredient is the oil itself
I love your hair! I dont use coconut oil either. The proteins make my hair hard and rough. I use wild grow
I also retwist with just water and oil. I haven’t used clips in awhile.
Nice, nice 🤔. I’m planning on growing mine out again after all of these years. It’s been 15 years for me. I think I’m ready to jump back on bored. Back in the day, there were no videos about how to take care of your locs. I’m planning on getting mine done maybe December, or January. I’m roughly 2inches in now. I’ve been using the sponge method so far. I just want my hair to drop right away, and have some shaky, shake to it🤷🏽♂️😂.

Does doing this often thin your locs like a retwist too often? A year and a half loc’d and learning as I go 😆
How much of each oil do you put into the mixture? I just got my ends colored caramel & I'm regretting it b/c my locs feel so dry & brittle. I've been locd for almost 6 years
Honestly, I would eyeball an equal amount of each lol. But if there's an oil that works better to moisturize and hydrate your, definitely adjust the measurements accordingly!

What happened to ur locs?? Why did u cut them??? Im curious because i used to watch ur videos..now u have braids..what happened??
How often do you do this?
Not often. Just when it's been awhile since my last retwist or if I'm going out & wanna take pics.
Don’t do this pls. Endless you want really thin locs. Basically retwisting and pulling them scalp tight to often
