Just a wonderful song and performance. I love how stripped down and concise it is. Produced just enough. Wonderful solo. Lyrics, harmonies, it's all perfect. It feels good and refreshing and sad, like the first foggy summer day in San Francisco. Interesting video too--it seems like it's almost like some latter-day shadow of the Stones' Waiting on a Friend video. Well done guys!

@@PuddleBooks his first solo album did, although it wasn't nearly as technically brilliant, The next couple were more like he was going for a Beatles or Byrd's kind of sound. His last couple have been decent but nothing like his first album or Ovens
@@eliottsmith6908 at least he still plays the old Ovens stuff live. Lately he dug out some really old gems and played them. But I gotta agree, nothing like the old Ovens stuff and/or his first album. Still a brilliant songwriter.
