What is being done to promote health in Acres Homes: Our Town

Despite being home to the largest medical center in the world, Houston has healthcare deserts all around us. People in communities like Acres Homes, don’t have access to basic health information.

Like anything else, yes, it could probably be revitalized. Probably a name brand grocery store. Maybe a health clinic etc.....but WHY? What for? All they're gonna do is shop lift and walk out the store with a cart full of stolen things.
Why build a healthcare clinic? So it can be constantly vandalized and broken into? The community does it to themselves🤷
I live in the Heights and I've grown up here. There are emergency clinics practically on every corner, nice restraunts, grocery stores, gyms...etc. I've never seen them tagged, or broken into. IF that ever happens, it's very rare.
