Super cute!!! I tried this braiding pattern earlier in the year and it took FOREVER!!! Looked amazing though so I’m debating whether or not to use it again for my next crochet twists. And while I love the look of goddess locs, I find the curly parts get straggly so quickly. So I normally buy the plain locs and do what you do here, adding in a curly hair after. That way, if it looks bad after a few weeks, I can cut out just the curly hair and add some more in to make it look fresher.
