The outdoor restaurants is so laid back, you also captures the birds in perfect lined flying by. The cove, white sand, the ocean water is super clear. The Natural passage is wonderful, I can stay there and just listening to the sound of nature. The guy fishing on the edge of the cliff, the bird on the rock. The food and wine. Riding with horses by the beach. And I think the best past is the Peach Tree Island & Praia Grande, this beach is the most beautiful so better to go on low season:) The sunset is gorgeous. I can't stop. So much to see is very short video. Thumbs up!

Porto Covo es uno de los pueblecitos mas coquetos del Parque Natural del Sudoeste Alentejano y Costa Vicentina en Portugal. Es un antiguo pueblo de pescadores que aún conserva su sabor añejo con sus calles adoquinadas. El caserío, de blanco inmaculado y tejas de barro, contrastan con zócalos azules, muy típicos de esta región. Su plaza es una de las mas bonitas y sencillas que he conocido. Es monumento Nacional y es totalmente cuadrada, es un bonito ejemplo de arquitectura popular Pombalina. La vida de Porto Covo se concentra alrededor de esta pintoresca plaza, donde en uno de los lados se ubica su pequeña iglesia. Es un lugar que nunca esperan encontrarte y donde las horas transcurren a paso lento. Es un lugar tranquilo, calmado…. para visitar sin prisas…. sin reloj. Las calles de Porto Covo están muy animadas en verano. Los visitantes llegan atraídos por el marisco. Las nécoras, los bueyes de mar, bogavantes, langostas, y el pescado fresco, son la base de las cartas de las marisquerías de Porto Covo. También hay típicas tiendas de recuerdos marineros y algunas heladerías donde se puede tomar un rico helado en plan tranquilo, en las terrazas que dan a la plaza. Los horizontes en Porto Covo terminan en el Atlántico. La Villa está enclavada sobre acantilados y posee coquetas playas. «La Praia do Banho», «La Praia do Buizinhos» y «La Praia Grande». El pueblo tiene una fortaleza que defendía la ensenada. Un poco mas al sur, frente al pueblo, se encuentra la «Ilha de Pessegueiro» La Isla del Melocotonero. Está abandonada y es fuente de inspiración para los más poéticos. Quedan restos de huellas cartaginesas y de la ocupación romana, especialmente tanques de salazón de pescado. Cuentan que también fue refugio de piratas a lo largo de los siglos. Barrida por los vientos es una isla que carece de árboles y alberga las ruinas de una fortaleza, gemela a la del mismo Porto Covo.
