I highly recommend Man In The Music by Joseph Vogel. The author goes into detail about each of MJ's solo albums up to Michael. He also writes about songs that were recorded during each album session, including those that were on Xscape.
You should get the older mags and books, that way you don't have to constantly read about Michael's passing. I'm sure they were easier to access since your young and have become a fan later in his career, but Ebay, flea markets, and old bookstores will be your best bet. I forgot in England the book is called 'Where's Wally' in America it's 'Where's Waldo'!😂
