Ever wondered how a TAS of this game would be like if with a single input (or controller) both characters (X and Zero) would get controlled? Join and see how this crazy game gets demolished with a epic one of kind TAS.
This TAS focuses on beating all 8 Mavericks before beating the game. The game on the right was altered only so using a particular input in the start screen the game starts with Zero. Nothing else was changed. The game on the left is the original game.

==== HOW TO REPRODUCE THIS TAS ====
1. Find and Download online the Mega Man X6 (USA) (v1.1) ISO
2. Download the Megaman X6 Tweaks Patcher: www.romhacking....
3. Download the corresponding Tweaks Profile: 1drv.ms/u/s!Am...
4. Open the Megaman X6 Tweaks Patcher, load the profile and load the BIN file of the ISO and click Patch.
5. Download and install the BizHawk Prereqs v2.0: github.com/TAS...
6. Download BizHawk v2.4: tasvideos.org/B...
7. Download the BizHawk movie file: 1drv.ms/u/s!Am...
8. Open BizHawk, load the Tweaked Megaman X6 CUE file, and then load the movie file.

Question, is using the American version of X6 significant to the runs in any way (exclusive glitches, faster text boxes, etc)?

Nah, there is no advantage of using the american version over japanese. Though, the tweaker I used to start in the intro stage as Zero only works on the American version which is why I picked it over the japanese version. Future TASes should be in the japanese version.

Hi! Really impressed by your speed run videos! Especially the 25:34 run! Was wondering that in your mind, which character , ultimate armor x or zero (normal or black), is faster to use to do speed run in MMX6? Who is stronger and faster? Thanks!

I had to slow down the video speed and pause it but it is really neat to see that playing as Zero still gives dialogue but the thing that makes it funny is the game still treats him as X without glitching or bugging out haha. I guess Zero really wasn't meant to be played in the intro stage not even any prototype dialogue
