I took care of my grandchildren for close to three years when they were younger. My daughter and her husband would buy food for themselves, but give the kids almost nothing. When the kids came to live with me, they were so surprised that the refrigerator was full! I feel for these kids. They do not need to live like that. :(

The grandmother knew that the food was locked up away from the kids so she also knew that they house was disgusting and that the kids were not taken care of in any way.
