- Hello everyone!!!! today the extremely exciting day has came when I am going to be moving to Orlando Florida to work at Walt Disney World as a cast member for an entire year!

Heard about this program a few years ago from another RUclips channel. Having worked at Animal Kingdom while in high school, I never knew about this. It's no small thing moving to a new country for a job. I hope you have a great experience , and can create some lifelong memories during your time here in the states. As an Orlando native now living in Arizona, I can tell you it's a very transient city.
I'd encourage anybody to broaden your horizons, and what this gentleman is doing if you get the chance. But be respectful of the culture when you're in another country. I learned about that first hand myself as a former member of the Air Force, and naive teenager visiting my estranged maternal grandfather in France.

I hope you guys have a wonderful time in the US. There are many great places to eat and have fun. Just be careful hanging out in downtown Orlando at night. If you all have a long time off from work try to get a group together and visit some places outside of Orlando. Can't wait to see more of your experience while working for Disney😊

FYI. As a Florida resident since 1984 just thought I'd let ya know only rear license plates are required in the state. Most, if not all states, require a front and rear visit. Best of luck with this new chapter in ya life.

At some stage, can you please go through a Q & A? I have many questions like the pay and how easy / difficult it is to live off the pay. I've often thought people would have to have about 10k (Australian dollars) (about 5000 pounds) in savings to get set up to move into Flamingo crossing. What's the rent costs like? Do cast members have the option to have their own room and if so, how much does that cost? How have you found getting around without a car? Is the buses enough to get you where you need to go? On your pay, are you able to save or is it just enough to get by each week? Did you get the option of who you want to share a house/ room with? Did you have to buy an annual pass to get in to the other parks or do they include that as part of your welcome package? Is there a gym at Flamingo Crossing and is it free to use? Have you made many friends outside of your UK group who you catch up with? Where did you meet your UK group - were they friends before getting into the ICP? So many questions. Sorry Charlie, so many questions but you have the best YT channel (IMO) covering the ICP.

Charlie will go into detail I’m sure, you get employee access to the parks for free (excluding some days that may be blocked out, just like full time employees). I don’t believe you get a choice of not sharing a room, rent costs are automatically deducted from your pay and I believe you get free use of the facilities at flamingo crossing. From what I’ve read the salary isn’t great after they have taken off accommodation costs, most DCP end up spending a fair amount of time at Disney as it’s a free!
I did the CRP back in 2010 and it was the best thing I’ve ever done. You will have the best time and make so many friends and memories! It’s hard work but you will love it. I have a couple friends out there currently Adam and Sophie 😊
Fun fact! He stayed in room number 113 in the second hotel (the one with Alex) and room A114
3 is where the pixar animation specialists were taught. What a coincidence!

I like watching the videos. I am from Cincinnati Ohio. When you both driving from airport to hotel, you passed the Orlando Skyline. I know you are not the most adventurous eater. Maybe in the next year taste chill dog coney or chill spaghetti 3-way. Nice to see young people on an adventure and having fun. Enjoy and keep up the videos.

Same here... you came up on my feed, tears when u shared the exciting news, binge watching from the beginning. I'm a mom/grammie from Ohio. Have visited Disney a number of times. Excited and happy when my son worked in London and another in Canada. Love your excitement and joy. What a wonderful experience!! It seems you'll enjoy every moment, will make amazing, life long friends and incredible memories.

Thanks so much! In the uk we have to apply through a company called Yummy Jobs who slimline the recruitment and whittle the applicants down to face the Disney recruiters in London! We make the application online and then find out if we have made it through to the prescreen process and then to the final interview in London ❤️

25:15 Those all look to be BB guns. Not real guns. Though some Walmart stores do sell real guns in the sporting goods area. But most sporting goods stores such as Bass Pro Shops, Cabela's, and Academy have a gun section.

Our number plate or tag a we call it in the states are on the back of the car,some states like California require a plate on the front and back of the car

I had never met Alex until we met at the airport to fly here! Me and Darcy and Freya met briefly at the interviews and managed to get the same start dates ❤️❤️
