Lag B’Omer commemorates Rabbi Akiva’s heroic response to tragedy, and the rebuilding of Torah. It honors his attitude that failure is not a time to wallow in depression, but to recognize the new responsibility before you, and embrace the opportunity to start fresh. May G-d give us all the strength to transform our moments of despair to times of courage and restoration.

It happened because it was a sakana for decades to have that many people It doesnt compare at all to what happened with other things mentioned.

Rabbi Etiel, first and foremost I'm sad and shocked, and I share in your grief. May we never again know such pain.
But even as the heart seethes in agony at our personal and collective losses, in matters of Torah we must speak the truth.
Rambam - Nezikin - Laws of the Murderer and the Safeguarding of Life - 11:1-6
Anyone with "eyes in their head" who's ever been to Meiron on Lag Ba'Omer knows exactly why this happened. It had nothing to do with the quality of our prayers, the amount of charity we did or did not give, or how much we succeeded or failed at avoiding gossip. As a nation, we all let the victims down by not taking their lives seriously enough to protect. Let's not compound the tragedy by failing to learn the proper lesson.
Avoidance of lashon hora, private kabalos shebeleiv, etc. will not prevent more deaths. Only renovations and occupancy limits will. Only adherence to both the law of the Torah and the civil law. Only.
If we ascribe spiritual causes to this terrible collapse, then how are we to look at the victims? Were they deficient in their davenning? Was their dveikus subpar? God forbid we should ever think that way. The casualties of this stampede were victims of criminal negligence and met their demise through no fault of their own.
Do we have to work on lashon hara, bein adam lehavero, etc? Of course we do, we always do, and we should. And we will. That's not the mussar haskel in this case. The cause of this tragedy was not in any way shape or form spiritual or otherworldly. No lacking or overabundance of angels of one form or another are to blame for this. To assign spiritual causes to what was - without doubt - an entirely physical, predictable, indeed foretold and forewarned tragedy would be a grave mistake. Such thinking will only lead to more bloodshed in the future.
May the comfort that the Omnipresent gives to the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem be manifested in the upholding of the law, adherence to safety rules, acknowledgement of dangerous buildings and gatherings, and a cultural shift away from magical thinking and towards collective responsibility for one another.

the message is clear in the Torah: we cannot do dangerous things. It has been going on too long and nebuch that it took so many people to be maimed for life and die . If people walk around going Why Why ? that would be a basic crime. Hashem implores us to be se sensible people. it is so horrifying and the loss is very close to home. Aharons sons went against what Hashem said. Rabbi Akivas students was beyond terrible and that lesson is still overlooked, asthere is a lot of bad treatment, baseless hatred. Bullying itself is baseless hatred and so common among kids and adults . The lesson is first and foremost . Dont spray water on people even if it's hot on slippery surfaces dozens not thousands should be allowed in a small place at one time. The Rashbi was humble and so too should kevarim not be mobbed with hundreds or thousands I lead kevarim tours. No blame right now but the message is extremely important Guard yourselves from danger we are too smart for such sakanadik situations. Rule out mob scenes forever forward.

Isaiah tried to couch his messages in terms that could be absorbed by the people. When he prophesied the good that awaited the righteous and the darkness that would befall the evil, the Jews asked, “What is holding back the arrival of the good, when will the ‘morning’ arrive?”
Isaiah answered, “As soon as you desire it, G‑d is willing.”
“What is withholding it?” they pressed further.
“Teshuvah,” said Isaiah, your heartfelt return to G‑d.22
After this tragedy I think thats its hight time to let go the stone heart and instead let Hashem make it a heart of flesh. Hashem does hates doing mitzva just for the sake of doing.
I am not a jew. Nor I look forward to be a Jew. But I am greatful the Hashem for getting me introduced to the teachings of great sages and Rabbies which helped me to understand - 1. WHO IS GOD?
    2. PURPOSE OF LIFE.
I request every jew to just unite as one soul. Salvation will come only by your unity. World will be saved only when you unitedly bear the light of Torah. Jews plz save this world.

Don’t you feel bad that God has closed your eyes to the Messiah according to the Scriptures??? When I was in Israel in 2017, I weeped for what was to come upon God‘s people and it’s called Jacobs trouble!!! We are allowed to ask God questions and I did one day and he revealed the truth to me!!! It says in the Scriptures God has no respect of people have you bothered to ask the question and get the real answer??? 🌈☝️🎺✝️🎺☝️🌈
