War Thunder was pretty crappy when I first played it after its initial release but it looks really hot now. I haven't played a good aerial combat sim in a while now so maybe I'll come back and take another look.
On another note, that was a cracking landing sir 🎉

It’s a pretty steep learning curve for anyone who doesn’t fly, but I found the sim battles to be highly rewarding for grinding aircraft, and quite relaxed at times as you’re flying a big map, so plenty of ground to cover while planning your next move.
I’d be happy to grind a new skill tree with you and even just get upto some formation flying to start with as even that is fun. It would be pretty awesome to fly in a big squadron. 👍
