Yeah I agree, I now have to buy an ethernet cable which is fine but really derails my project. Leaving this setting accessible in the emulator is lazy, it's not the TV's fault that it can't read the resolution, it's literally that the emulator won't run on the device at said resolution. There's all these videos of people going into the Android settings changing resolution and having it work, as far as I'm concerned that's black magic because Android side of things has absolutely no effect on the retroarch side. If I weren't already interested in a project to pass time, I would have returned this by now.

It's kind of the other way around. It seems the emulator doesn't support any other resolution output besides the one that comes with. It's actually not the TV's fault which is more obvious, but less obviously it's not even the Android's fault. This is the fault of retroarch and the Chinese company that put these together for not locking the option in recent updates.

HELP PLEASE! my console x pro was working fine. Today I got gome from work, powered it up it flashes the initial Kinhank screen for like a sec. Comes on, turns off. Over and over. No games. 😠. Take the card out and droid box works just fine. No screen issues. Put card in. Power off and on. Still no games. Just a flashing Kinhank screen again. I'm lost 😥

Using the second method is much easier, dont worry about the words in chinese, everything that you will need is simple and just need to follow step by step os this video and everything will be alright. For those who say the archive is corrupted, for me it downloaded and worked just as the video with no problems, (I used Edge Browser) Also, my console is the Cube X3, I think the same method will work on every console of Kinhank
To paste the file into the program you need to copy the one on the desktop by right clicking and copy or control and c then click in the program where you need to paste it in and press control and v
i keep changing video resolution to 1080p60hz but my console goes back to 480cvbs. i can hear the sound but there is no display. followed all instructions from youtube but nothing works. i guess the best way to solve the issue is by navigating through the emuelec settings using gamepad without display. can someone send me their emuelec settings screen by screen.
***Update*** 100% Working / Green Screen Fix!!! I managed to fix the green screen by deleting the "emuelec.conf" file in the storage drive. I use disk genius to access the Storage - > Emuelec -> Configs and delete the configuration file. Inserted back the SD card into the console and turned the power on. Emuelec started and rebuilds default configuration files. Now my console is 100% working!! I hope this is helpful.. :-)

Question: how do you switch from 60hz to 50hz? It only gives me the option on Android settings display of 1080p 60hz 720p 60hz and 480p 60hz. It doesn't have a 50hz option. 🤷

@@darthinvader5171 I tried what you said, but a red light in front of the super console x appeared. The console is on the phone setting menu without the sd card. I turned it off reinserted the card powered it up, and it's still on the phone menu with the red light. How do I launch the sd card? 🤷

Hello my friend .just recived my console pro and it dosent work at all .stuck at configuration screen.never worked once.i just opened and was looking so foward to playing and nothing just paid 160 Canadian. What do i do now
seguí los pasos pero no hice lo de remplazar el archivo emulec pues me decía que necesitaba la licencia el programa y lo que hice fue borrar definitivamente ese archivo y con eso de nuevo volvió a funcionar los juegos,OJO tengan mucho cuidado pues podrían borrar toda la carpeta,sólo selecciónen dicho archivo del que mencionan el video y ya es desicion suya si borrarlo o no
por cierto si había borrado accidentalmente toda la carpeta Storage y ya me había asustado pero afortunadamente se recuperó cuando me salía del programa y me decía que había hecho cambios y le pedía descartar dichos cambios y así recuperé esa carpeta STORAGE,por eso deben seleccionar con mucho cuidado el archivo a eliminar pues en mi caso a mi me funcionó
You literally don’t have to do any of this. Lol. Just take the sd card out go to android settings and change the resolution to something your tv is compatible with. I was not having any luck changing it to 1080 so I just went with the highest resolution on there. I have a 4K tv. Then I put the sd card back in and rebooted. The screen was obviously zoomed in but I was able to get back into emuelec settings and change back to 1080.
What a garbage... That happened to me right now and i haven't that shit of Ethernet. So i will get rid of this console once for all. Right to the trash

It works good but you can't exit games when pressing select and start very frustrating.
I have found it works when I press start and down on the left analogue stick.
Maybe you are not set the Select as the hotkey.

I have rebooted it and have the right hp, I can't get to settings as green screen still on. So card was taken out. Please help
