#Chon - Видеоклипы
Agree, polyphia and chon are both insanely technical but bring totally different vibes. You should check out “bubble dream” from their live session at audiotree.
I almost reacted to that song first (not the live version). I am glad I didn't since multiple people have requested the live version.
Seconded! That's the session that turned me on to them. Bubble Dream is a BOP
Both chon and polyphia are are game changers in the guitar world and music world in general. But I gotta give it to chon when it comes to unique melodies and chord progressions
Chon is like the older smarter brother of Polyphia. Polyrhythms/different time signatures and such vs just 4/4 polyphia. I love these guys but they definitely make music for musicians compared to the accessibility of Polyphia. Rosewood is 100% my favorite from them but the Audio Tree version of "Bubble Dream" is a very popular one from the reaction channels
Bubble Dream (Live Version) is what is getting requested quite a bit, so that will be the next Chon video I do.
@@cafetrey Rosewood from CHON is dope. +1 for that song
They’re song Knot would blow you away would recomend
Sunset - Tim Henson is a wonderful track, plus it will introduce you to two more amazing musicians. Plini and Cory Wong. Really gives off the "At the beach with the boys cracking a cold one in the late evening" kind of vibe for me. I highly recommend it.
Tim Henson - The gateway drug to other artists 🤣😂
@@cafetrey Guilty as charged!
Chon’s one of those bands I always find hard to head bang to coz one minute I’m on time the next I’m off. Great band and I love the drummer. He’s amazing. I’d recommend….
Pitch Dark
Sleepy Tea
I feel the same way. Especially on the first listen.
You've gotten a taste of ichika. One of my favorite tracks from him is "Orb" you will not be disappointed 😎
He is infectious. His collab with Polyphia will be the next video I do.
@@cafetrey that is also a very good track 👍 you'll like both their parts
WATERSLIDE- CHON PLEAAAASE THE UNIVERSE DEPENDS ON IT
I will do my best to protect the universe! Also, Bubble Dream is rendering as we speak.
Chooooon 🥺. I supscribe for it
Thank you!
If you have already seen the video for Polyphia - Yas, then you have seen 2 of Chon's members play in that video. Mario Camarena and Erik Hansel.
I have a video up for YAS but had no clue who they were at the time that I posted it. Those guys are supremely talented.
React to Story by Chon,
first heard about polyphia and chon a few years back when they toured with coheed
That tour didn't come to me town 😭
Check out American football! One of the main predecessors of this genre. Midwest emo/math rock bands from 95-2005 have a wealth of insanely intricate and beautiful arrangements
Don caballero
Fugazi
Ghosts and vodka*
Joan of arc
So many more to mention, your at the edge of a very fun rabbit hole that is so deep.
Also just want to mention that your editing style was a lot of fun to watch. Keep it up!
Thank you! I am familiar with Fugazi. I will need to check out the others you mentioned.
@@cafetrey of course man, always makes me happy seeing someone sharing this genre and enjoying it themselves.
Oh yessss, i ask you to react to their song “Perfect Pillow” but the official Live version 😭
Bubble Dream or Perfect Pillow live. Decisions... Decisions....
@@cafetrey both, 1 by 1 haha
Yo Yo! Been watching your Polyphia stuff, check out Dew from Chon live on Audiotree. Its one of the best live performances i've ever seen! Great video man.
I'll check it out. Everyone is requesting their live performances.
Glad you got to chon. When it comes to prog rock, chon, polyphia and AAL are really the top tier. Chon comes with more math rock, polyphia has a bit more mature listenable vibe, both are phenomenal groups!
They all are unique and that is what I love about all of them
Owane - rock Is Too Heavy
Never heard of that artist. What genre/style is it?
@@cafetrey similar to Chon
definitley look into story by CHON
If it even half as good as Splash. I am going to love it.
very similar but imo better and the video is gorgeous.
It's still not Polyphia but it's good. The technical skill is really good but it's missing the big melodic hooks that I crave ??? I think ...
I can equally appreciate both bands. They are masters in what they do
