Remember we were talking about Cettis Warbler on another video the other day. That's where I saw my first one, also the place that got me into birdwatching. We used to walk there with the mother in law a good few years back and there was a guy with a scope. I asked him what he was looking at and he said Black tailed Godwits. I'd never heard of them, I asked him for a look through the scope and that was me hooked. Great film again and I hope you enjoyed it there its one of my favourites. I must go down that way for a day or two.
Thank you, what a great story. Yes I’ve not done enough birding down there considering how close it is and with midweek breaks in Somerset being so reasonable !
Smart stuff John, ain't had a GW Egret or Bittern this year but saw the Black Winged Stilts at Potteric & nest too. They have chicks now so a great success story..
I am very, very jealous that you have Stilts in a twitchable distance!😉What an amazing looking bird. It’s very exciting that they are breeding so far north. Seriously though I am really chuffed that you got to see them.
We never tire of visiting the levels John. Always rewarding.
Another good one👍, thanks for sharing.
Thanks Wayne, I've not visited it enough but I'm planning to put that right!
Amazing 👏 love the quality.
Cheers Paul! 👍
Always lovely to catch a bittern
Thanks Mick, wish I had seen it in time to zoom.

Cảm ơn Mai. 🙏 Tôi phải thừa nhận rằng nó rất đẹp ở Somerset. Con chim sọc là một con Great Crested Grebe vị thành niên! 😊💖
