I've decluttered that Roen palette. It looks pretty on the eyes but it creases in record time. To be fair, all cream shadows crease on me but this one didn't last an hour before becoming a creasy mess. And I could feel the shadow every time I blinked.
I have the Roen palette and I enjoy it, but...similarly to pchen above, it's not the best performing product I've ever come across, definitely quite finnicky if you want it to look good, and definitely an editorial look, at least on me. Personally I can't really pull it off day to day, it's just too glittery for that. I was eyeing the cool tone version, but am scared I'll spend the hefty price tag again and never actually get use out of it for the same reasons...I wonder if anyone feels the same! Sarah, it'd be great to actually get some inspiration from how you're wearing it. Otherwise mine is probably going to leave my collection, too.

Bestie, I hope you're using another sunscreen under the tower 28 one because with that high amount of coverage, you probably didn't use the required amount of product for proper sun protection:(

I'm so sorry you're finding the roen palette difficult to work with, it's one of my favorite things. Try working with its shades alone and spread the cream further than you did now. It will start blending with your skin giving you the most elegant look. Usually I don't have much luck "setting" the Roen shades.
Once you learned how to work with them integrate a powder color in the crease. Roen shades are amazingly beautiful and a truly original formula. Unluckly that means that there's a learning curve, but it's oh so worth it
I used it again today on its own and loved how it turned out! I think I need to press harder to really see the color of the shadow. Thanks for the tip though, I’m going to keep trying! 💕💕
@@SarahC oh yes definitely do that! Roen shades are harder in the pan, so you have to warm them up a little by swirling your finger in the pan. I suggest also watching Hannah Louise Poston's review, she explains everything and shows how to use them. She's a true fan, she has all the quads from day 1! She knows all the tricks and tips xD
Kind of taking this idea from a recent video by Hannah Louise Poston, but if you decide to approach lip products this way and have them all out, you should move the ones you use into a separate bin. So at the end of the month when you're making your video, you can say what you actually ended up using.

It's a good mix of warm and cool toned shades I would say!

That didn't go very well LOL. I had to stop because it just wasn't working out for me. I had a hard time sticking with it and using those products along with my makeup rotation. I might try again soon though!
Sarah, idk what’s up with your camera but it was a bit glitchy in the video. Either that or you have a filter on because I had to rewind so many times because I swore your beauty spots kept on disappearing then reappearing and I though i was going crazy.
On another note, thanks for the video!!!
I use a feature in final cut pro where you can add LUTs but it basically just adds some saturation and a slight fade to add to the cozy vibe lol. I don't add any skin smoothing filters or anything, that's really weird. 😳 I won't add the LUT next time to see if that helps! ❤️
I figured it wasn’t really a filter I was just more hyper aware this time, especially since the GRWM was normal and sharp. The attention my eyes pays to detail can just be off sometimes.
Anyone else notice that thing popping up behind the wall during the makeup bin bit? Lol
That isn't even close to the amount of sunscreen you should be wearing! Please be careful, I feel like it's kinda dangerous to suggest that's fine on its own/not make it abundantly clear you're wearing more protection underneath?
Also, if the foundation/sunscreen you're showing here contains uncoated zinc oxide, it could also seriously compromise the protection offered by some organic filters. It's not necessarily safe to layer sunscreen at the best of times tbh, but especially when it comes to avobenzone and uncoated zinc.
