- When hunting, your luck can change in an instant! With a slow few days of deer hunting the group wasn't feeling optimistic but that changed quickly.
Shayne and Shawn are together again for their annual November deer hunt together! This is a classic deer camp hunt where fun with friends while hunting is the goal. This year they will be glassing up Eastern Montana in hopes of filling the freezer with a good mule deer or whitetail buck, preferably giants forkies. Maple breakfast sausage is the end goal for this hunt!

Never pass up the 1st day what you would shoot the last day. However I shot a nice buck one late afternoon. The next day I went to get a doe and bingo a huge monster showed up with no tags left for bucks. Yes, I did the right thing.

Thanks for watching glad you enjoyed. This is our favorite hunt every year obviously we don't take it very serious just have lots of laughs. We are heading out on our annual deer hunt here on Friday all three of use have tags here at home in ND. Many laughs will be had and hopefully a few nice bucks too!

Sweet Montana. Was a bust for me this year. After two days of heavy rain I got to Williston. Spent the night in another continual rain and the next day had the brains to call the BLM lady about conditions in the UMRB Nat. Mon. and she said don't even think about coming out here. Roads washed out and roads in general would take days to not be grease. Been in that stuff before and it ain't fun. Or, maybe she just didn't like the sound of my voice. Beginning to wonder about Montana. Lots of pressure and ran into some jerk locals who think they own both the public and private. Store people were friendly and ran into a guy in a grocery store that was a fine fellow indeed. Must have been a non-resident.
