@factsandstuff2832 it's also more for gifts for friends as well.
@@factsandstuff2832That's not even a good idea when the garbage set jumpstart boxes exist.
@austinrearick8946 I think he meant the good nonset Jumpstarts
@@willwithanxbox I would hope that's what they actually meant, but when someone says the cheapest jumpstart box, it's good to at least try and help clarify it further when someone could read that, see that the set ones are cheapest without knowing what they are, and getting one for someone with the thought that it was what was being recommended.
Again, thank you for putting the names and artists for the songs you use on screen.
So what I'm getting from this is that this is the perfect set to buy if I want to fill up an entire card binder with borderless Faithless Looting?
Was gonna say just this. So much Faithless Looting! Every time I glance at the screen… Faithless Looting! I think Wizards is trying to tell us something…
Seems like the Prof always makes his money back on the first box. Makes it look like buying boxes is better then singles.
3 boxes till bust its always awesome to watch the packs get cracked waiting to see that very pretty jeweled lotus. Thanks !
Thank you Keeps for giving Prof a haircut. He presents himself the way he wants to present himself, and he does, because he could, so he did, he does the presenting that he does.
Last box seems more like the norm.🎉
The price of these boxes is ridiculous but God do those single prices make me happy. Remember when Smothering Tithe was $50?
Lovely tie professor
This video had the most wholesome ad read of all time.
That third box was an absolute steamer, even with the Lotus
I still cant believe Talrand isnt like... a penny. What a wild world.
I really loved the accidental middle finger joke!
Had my son watch you open boxes for the first time and told him you would bust on the first and second box. You should've seen him jumping around making fun of me for being wrong 😂 awesome job as always. Thanks as always for showing us the way. 😊
Wow! Insane Pulls! I've had only one box in my life where I came out ahead.
dang was good value! im very glad they exceeded the purchase price (2/3)!
You have remarkably steady hands when you nonchalantly pull a $30+ card
This set box is over $500US in Australia 😢 on Amazon
I just like to look at the nice pictures, thanks for this cool montage of pretty pictures
Prof, one thing I notice is how even more single packs are a rip. With a few big ticket items helping to hit the cost, most of the packs you opened didn't even pay for themselves. At $17-25 each, that's a hard pill to swallow.
Been living in Proxy City for years now, it’s great here!
Vibing to the tunes and cooking just listening to “cha-ching”…
Me: Oh cool, a new booster box game video!
Also Me: Oh no, its almost an hour long :(
I don’t know what happened at 16:04 but it was hilarious 😂
Just a few weeks and i can draft for a reasonable price again, I've barely played this summer lol
This set looks so cool - shame it’s so expensive.
Love how he just casually drops the Eternal Masters box and then has an ‘oh shit’ expression after
"Eternal masters, the original commander masters but... good"
😂😂😂😂
Wouldn't the original commander masters set technically be Chronicles? (I know it was EDH then, but still).
I really love the basic lands in this premium product (!)
The lack of MSRP is not why these arent $240. If there *was* an MSRP, it would probably be like $480, based on what stores are buying this from distributors for.
Those boxes are pretty good, but the starting price just keeps me from even trying. The ceiling may be high, but the floor is an chasm.
I'm tempted to buy a set box just for the art sliver cards, they're gorgeous
350 for art cards is wild af
just buy them individually lol. They're pretty cheap.
I'm so jealous of you pulling that scarab God when I have to wait a few weeks for it to ship from tcgplayer
Prof, you should definitely do the booster box game where you put your profits from boxes 1 and 2 etc into box 3 etc
This style you're rocking I dub it the "Tolarian Winds"
I love the series, keep it up prof
when I saw Fierce Guardianship and jeweled lotus I was thinking, dang thats one hell of a box! must already be close to reimburse it! Just to see that it was not even half the price yet... That really shows how this product is ridiculously expensive, what a shame considering the amazing stuff you can find in each boosters
Dude, you are very lucky. 3 boxes with 3 fierce guardianship and 2 jeweled lotus..wow.
well Prof. I hope that I pull half as well as you do on my near mandatory box of this set. Heck even your last box pulled plenty of cards I am looking for.
Nice tie
I identify myself as the buyer of the last box, wishing I got the middle box instead.
Honestly I would have been okay with that last box. Lost $50 in value, but got several cards I want to play that are too expensive for me to actually buy. If I got $300 in value but part of that was a Jeweled Lotus, I’d be happy because I got a good card I’d never otherwise have gotten.
At 7:10 you pull an Ashnod's Altar, you didn't mention the price of it. But its listed on Card Kingdom for $7.99
Saw that too and thought wow it's worthless now?
Noticed that too as I'm probably picking one up soon, hoping it drops in the next month or so
@justin2039 hey, if it drops the price of the Antiquities version enough, I would just buy that version.
I think he just missed it, but to be fair you can get identical prints from other sets for $2 or $3 each.
I find it hilarious how he is colossally lucky on his pulls, but barely makes the box's worth
I'm sorry for your wallet, Prof.
the money from youtube/sponsorship will cover it lol
Plus he can write it off on his taxes
So many smart people in this thread so far
