It’s not getting to her head, unfortunately most artists cannot control the price of certain items, like tickets to a concert for example. Managers and people who run the websites or whatever needs control over, control the prices. Most artists, including Mel do try to have prices as low as they can but managers don’t agree and have the lowest not even be that low.
ppl need to realize she makes mostly COLLECTABLES for her merch , its supposed to be expensive .. yall will see someone pay 700$ on a fnaf plushie bc its not made anymore and dont care but the second its Melanie its “GUYS SHES SO RIDICULOUS 😡‼️‼️🗣️🗣️”
Her merch is a lot of money. But so is a lot of artists. Plus the people that work for them usually set the prices. But she also needs a price that will pay for the site to sell them, the company that makes them, the materials, plus she needs to profit off of them.
these candles are handmade by a small business with only about 10 employees. yes, 75$ is a lot of money, but it is honestly fair for what you get. the packaging is also more on the pricier side to make, all of the prices add up if you break them down. melanie also has mentioned in an instagram comment that every time she makes something, she risks being able to pay her own bills. a lot of people assume she has a lot of money but that isn’t true, and she mentioned her team warns her every time she makes something, and she does it all for her fans. so please keep this in mind before complaining about the price !! 🤍
