    Rocks SUCK!!!! That’s why it needs to be in game. IRL you break a shank or eat one in the combine it could cost you hours or days to get right again. I wish Giants would model break downs that makes the equipment unusable until repaired and, of course, it happens Saturday evening when you can’t get parts till Monday morning. UGH!! (Evil grin)

      True, but for me rocks are just too much of a tedium from real farming life that I don't want in my game. Possibly because there is no really good way to dispose of them in game.

    My question is: is there a finite amount of stone in a field(ie: after several seasons of picking stone you remove all of the stones for ever), or does a new crop of stones grow every season (ie: you will never get rid of all the stones)?

    No one seems to be able to answer this.
    If you want to do stubble tillage, you can't pick up stones without destroying the seedbed, since every stone picker turns the field into a cultivated state.
    So far it seems the only real option you have is to go with it one year and next year have no stones at all anymore, if stubble tillage really does not pull up any stones.
    Or do i miss something here? Is there a way to get those stones i freshly bought from a neglectful NPC (god damn i want stone picking contracts finally...) and have stubble tillage set for precision farming?
    I can't drive with the shallow cultivator over the stone pickers cutlivated field agian, since then it just turns into a "seedbed". Neither stubble tillage nor cutltivated.
    Or does seedbed count as stubble tillage?

    • @FarmerKlein

    • @FarmerKlein
      @FarmerKlein  2 года назад

      @@Derethevil bonus money is related to enviormental score which has nothing to do with seedbed state. shallow cultivator or power harrow no stones to collect then seed or direct seed/plant post harvest to max out the tillage score.

    • @Derethevil
      @Derethevil 2 года назад

      @@FarmerKlein That still doesn't answer my question though.
      You buy a field from a NPC later on and it is riddled with large stones. Obviously i want them out of my field. So there is no way to collect them and get the stubble tillage the first year, since stone picking puts the field into a cultivated state or seedbed state if you try to use the shallow cultivator again.
      Means only next year, when i finished harvesting, i go into it with my shallow cultivator and then do not have to collect stones, since the shallow cultivator doesn't bring them up.

    Hi, just wanted to point out that the capacity that is shown with m3 is called "cubic meters" and not "liters".
    Eg. The Rock King 9600 has a capacity of 3.8 cubic meters. This is essentially the volume of 3.8 blocks that is 1meter wide, 1meter long, and 1meter tall.
    I hope this makes sense, and i hope it helps.

    • @iampatel0289
      @iampatel0289 Год назад

      cubic meter and liter both are units of volume. we are talking about volume. 1m3 is same as 1000 liters. so you are pointing in wrong direction mate! btw your example make no sense as block is not an unit of volume. 3.8 cubic meters is same as 3800 liters in term of volume. (1 cubic meter block is 1meter wide, 1meter long, and 1meter tall.) "I hope this makes sense, and i hope it helps."

  • @petrokemikal
    @petrokemikal Год назад

    They implemented rocks haphazardly.. You would never drive up and down a field picking up endless rocks with the likes of a dangelman, there purely for large rocks that would be one offs in a field.. The Ehlo is a specialty rock picker for usually contractor work, shitty fields that are being leased or repurposed for farm land.. When rocks come up in a field there here and there and usually can be simply rolled back in and the big ones picked with a front loader bucket.. The game has put rocks in the field like there popcorn.. Wayyy over done..

    • @FarmerKlein
      @FarmerKlein  Год назад

      ya, but I feel its part of the gamification. In the game for a hired helper to pickup rocks they have to be somewhat covering the field. Early on the rocks where less abundant but then an update happened to make them excessive as you have pointed out. I turn stones off in the settings now as a result.

      @@FarmerKlein Im the same.. I wanted to leave it on, but it got so overdone that it became the worst part of field prep, It should have been, rocks come up and the roller knocks down 90%of them,then you can either use a stone bucket on a loader of choice or the rock picker and spend a couple of minutes clearing the rest.. As it stands, the rollers are completely pointless as there are so many rocks, your going to have to drive up and down the whole field to clear it anyways..
