I am surprised by your absurdly low subscriber count and the fact that youtube didn't recommend me this earlier. Oh well , algorithms gonna algorithm. One of the best mapping channels I've ever seen (and not THE best only because of Falcon's existence)

Awesome episode! I really wasn’t expecting the Novgorod conversion, that was pretty cool and I liked the way the episode ended with the anti-Kyivan war. I wonder what Burgundy is plotting!

    Well, congratulations.
This episode really made me think again about your first videos, and the progress you've made since then is incredible. This episode was pretty well crafted, the plot is smooth and pleasant, the editing is mostly immaculate and I particularly liked your music choices. I can't point out enough how well the world is built, everything feels so realistic and appropriate to the politics of the time, but at the same time, it differs completely from what has happened in our timeline, creating an interesting story. And the characters are well made too: the dynamics between Bohemia and Poland, Burgundy and the Papal States, Kyiv, Finland, Novgorod, the Persian nations, and many others are what make the series so enjoyable to watch.
I just have a small nitpick, which is the war map of the Persian Intermezzo War, which made it obvious from the start that the Ghaznavids could have intervened. But that's a minor issue. Overall, another great job.
    You're making me proud, Coronal!

Well my friend you outdid yourselfe once again and this time i lack any issues and I am more then happy to overanyalize it all (becouse it seems i have some competition now eh?) anyway, from the start we see Pope angry nothing new and Burgundy... Ohh my he is devius as alyways cant wait to see his plan in action as well hes sucking up to Pope is really showing me how smartly he is doing this, whille we can see Poland is unsure of their next move and wants to get into action of war, but Bohemia is playing a waiting game and i can say is way smarter. Now to my favorite parts of the video Unification of Persia... I was at the edge of my seat in this Khorasan was so close at ending it and yet with unplesant help of Ghaznivids, Kirman(cant call it Neo Achaemenids) came up on top! I was so happy for them, but now they are in a much bigger problem... Stuck beetwen Eastern Rome and before mentioned Ghaznivids htey are now stuck and without exposing themselves they can easely get destroyed buy any of those 2. But over all im happy they come out on top Zoroastian Iran ah what a satisfaction for myself if only Babylon coulr return... But anyway now to the other non Abrahamic countries Finland showed himself as a new powerfull force and uniting northern Pagans cant wait to see his future moments with Norway. Now to Naples ah hes becoming more and more powerfull and now with support of the Pope hes nearly equal to Apullia! What a strong character. And now to the ending what an amazing end for Finale... Rus just enjoying his prosperity and then BAAM!!! Pagan revoult! You made not only a great finale of episode but caouse a rift in within myself i alyways love orthodox chrisitianity and i am orthodox myself and i started learning about old belifes of my nation and here you caused a war beetwen 2 things i love and may friend i dont know for who to root... episode was great! 10/10!

This series has truly been wonderful. Details, characters, history, all is there… I hope you gain more recognition for your work! Hard work deserves recognition after all. It will be interesting to see how the Eastern Romans will address the rising Achaemenids and perhaps reminisce on the old Eastern Roman and Sassanid rivalry.

Brilliant! I just want you to know that it's spelled heresy. "Hearsay" is a legal term meaning evidence that has been rejected by a judge for being too rumor-based.

I just finished this series up to this point and I have somr praises and critiques to make.
First off, the story making is top notch, if not predictable at times (who'd 'a thunk that France was working with the Almoravids against Aquitaine, you honestly did not need the blur affect.), but you do a brilliant hob sounding sophisticated.
Next is a complaint I have about the mapping, in places, the rendering (colouring) of nations is inconsistent, the russian Ural region nations have an outline while say Nordic doesn't (I can't check if this is true because of how vomments work on mobile), and thank god the radial gradient of Aquitaine is gone. This is a small nitpick as I feel your story telling makes up for relatively low fps wars and map inconsistencies though.
Lastly, I feel like Europe is getting a bit too united, I kinda expect someone to collapse soon with the three massive empires of Nords, Romans and Romans, not to mention Finland unifying as well as France reunifying, the Kievan rus is cool but also massive. It's not normal for this much united power blocks to exist at one time, but I won't tell you to change your plans as I do not intend to derail your story plan with one critique, just something to keep in mind for the future.
My last critique is almost unavoidable, but it's places that I feel need a bit more attention, being Scotland, Croatia and Song. The first two are from... Being on their way out frankly, and then there's the ever unstable Chinese warlord era most likely on the horizon. But you're already busy with existing storylines so I suggest you focus on those for now.
A last suggestion, maybe have a complete underdog win a war once without external hope, who knoes, maybe Scotland will accidentally slaughter the Nords or something like that.
Enough with the crotiques, I greatly enjoyed this series and I am thrilled that you are going to continue this for a while yet, I cannot wait to see what's to come!

Fear not, many of your critiques shall soon be addressed. The toll of those recent unifications in Europe shall soon be felt, as the upcoming finale will focus on who is able to keep the power they gained, and who shall crumble in the face of the others. Soon enough, the next season shall air, with a more consistent map to accompany it. As for France, I will admit that the blurring was unnecessary, but I wanted to add in a Brazilian/Imperial reference, so I included it. Finally, Scotland, Croatia, and the Song Dynasty shall soon have their time to shine in the second season (I won't spoil how, but their fates are certainly changed from the original timeline. So anyway, I thank you for your wise words, and hope that you continue to provide them as I continue to grow more experienced in the world of mapping.
