i would upgrade your processor if you are not getting the desired frames at your resolution, i would suggest a 3.0+ quad core or decreasing the resolution settings/turn off vsync. even then i get lag with my i5 2400 (2g amd 6850). this game uses processor mainly, xbitlabs has great reviews on processors and performance on games and applications
Indeed, get a phenom 2 x4 965, if you have enough money you should even get an i5 2500k, it pairs up really well with the gtx 560 ti, how much ram do you have? you should look forward to 8gb if you want an upgrade.
@TheSpacechannel5 How many frames per second do you get when playing with Vsync on? I just want to see if I am getting similar performance, since I have nearly the same rig...
hi, i have a problem. I have same video card like you 6850 1 gb but cpu phenom ii x6 1045t and in video games when i look where are a lot of textures i have framedropss. For example in assassins creed when im on rooftops i have 35-40 fps. Do you know why? this video card is pretty powerful for games. I have the latest catalyst drivers
Most games aren't optimized to run with 6 cores, so that could be something, also, try to download the latest drivers for your gpu (don't use the ones that come in the cd), If the problem starts to get worse you should change the gpu, it may be damaged or something, but that last case is really rare and you should only return it if you see the gpu is really damaged.
@champion1642 ON during gameplay, OFF during benchmark.
Is your 6850 running @ stock speed or have you tried a little bit of overclock using overdrive?

did you have Vsync on?
i think you need to upgrade your cpu. you gtx 560ti is good to play this little game. even my hd4650 run smoothly with this game, i used i7 870
