It's disheartening to see how conditioned our society is to expect infidelity, to the point where some people struggle to believe that Mpho maintained a monogamous relationship with his girlfriend while also having platonic relationships with people of the opposite sex. He embodied love, and while people like him are rare, they do exist.
He simply radiated love, and it would be wonderful if people could accept that without trying to dissect every "I love you" or search for reasons to discredit his genuine affection. His close circle has already made it clear that this was just who he was with everyone he loved, regardless of gender.
