Houston is a large metropolis in Texas, extending to Galveston Bay. It’s closely linked with the Space Center Houston, the coastal visitor center at NASA’s astronaut training and flight control complex. The city’s relatively compact Downtown includes the Theater District, home to the renowned Houston Grand Opera, and the Historic District, with 19th-century architecture and upscale restaurants.

The 2024 American Lebanese Cultural Center event, aptly named "Uniting Community, Building Tomorrow," aims to bring together the Lebanese community in a vibrant and enjoyable setting while also introducing our rich cultural heritage to non-Lebanese attendees. Since 2015, we have held this annual event to foster connections within our community and to share our traditions with a broader audience. This year, as in recent years, we are proud to support the Children’s Cancer Center of Lebanon (CCCL) by donating 10% of our net income to their cause. Additionally, we are raising funds to realize our dream of building a dedicated cultural center and museum. Our vision is to create a space where our heritage can be celebrated and preserved, offering future generations a place to connect with and take pride in their roots. Through this event, we aim to strengthen our community bonds and make meaningful contributions to both our local community and kids in need in Lebanon, while continuing our practice of supporting the Houston community, as we have done in the past with the Fort Bend Educational Foundation.

Dubbed “Lebanon’s biggest optimist,” Anthony Rahayel does not fail to live up his reputation. Born in 1983 in Beirut, Rahayel grew up spending his summers in Faytroun, Lebanon. Although he acknowledges he did not grow up in a small village, he expresses his attachment to the small village way of life that is reminiscent of the nostalgia so many Lebanese feel, whether living within its borders or abroad. And it is in this optimistic nostalgia, combined with realistic hope for the future, that Rahayel has sparked hard-earned joy in the hearts of Lebanese throughout the world.
    .
Anthony Rahayel is a dynamic figure in the world of food blogging, with a particular focus on Lebanese cuisine. His work has not only popularized Lebanese food globally but also provided valuable support to local food businesses and cultural heritage.

Phoenicia Specialty Food of Arpi and Zohrab Tcholakian is the best ambassador of Lebanese and middle eastern food and grocery in Houston. It is definitely an International experience at their locations.
