I am here because of Mike Scott's wonderful tribute to him as he played accordian on Fisherman's Blues. What a wonder singer. RIP.

Oh no! Sad to hear this. A great and expressive singer and musician. His recordings are some of my favorites. I got to see him play with Steve in Dublin back in the 90s. A busload of folks from Kerry came to the gig and did their set dances during the dance tunes, which was some thing I didn’t experience much of at gigs in Dublin, so it was a treat. Wonderful evening. He will be missed.

Agus cad 'na thaobh nár labhair TG4, RTÉ agus a "chairde" ceoltóirí amach á thacú nuair a labhair sé i gcoinne an Scamdemic?... Fimínigh
    Translation
Why didn't tg4, RTÉ and his so called friends support and publicise him when he was the only Honest trad musician who spoke out against the Scamdemic???
