- In the 76 page manifesto of the BJP, the name of Narendra Modi features 52 times. The high density of Modi in a party’s manifesto prompts us to call this episode Modifesto instead of Manifesto. The Modifesto makes a range of sweeping promises ranging from focussing on health to peace in the north-east. This episode is the 8th episode in the report card series. This video not only serves as a check on the promises made in the Modifesto but also serves as a quick recap of some of the themes covered in the other episodes in the report card series that did a claim check on the previous manifestos. 10 years back in India we all knew that no one could freeze our Bank accounts without any criminal record and/or court order. But now every 3 months bank can freeze accounts with KYC rules. Freezing bank accounts without any criminal record itself is unconstitutional. But wait, ESG based bank freezing are also coming.
Not to mention the horrors of demonetization in every 3-4 years. Government can print money, but common people have to earn it. Such an awful time to live.

In it, I liked the fact that 50 % reservation is for women. That significantly Increases The chances of women coming in fields like Research and police etc.

जिस तरह सुप्रीम कोर्ट किसी कंपनी के भ्रामक विज्ञापन पर एक्शन ले रही है ठीक उसी तरह नेताओं के भ्रामक भाषण तथा जो सार्वजनिक मंच से जो वादे करते हैं अगर वो वादे अपने उस कार्यकाल के दौरान पूरे नही करते है तो इन सब पर भी सुप्रीम कोर्ट को एक्शन लेना चाहिए और उस नेता को अयोग्य घोषित करके भविष्य में चुनाव लडने से बर्खास्त कर देना चाहिए।
