It’s upsetting to know what this man is going through. You can see it in his eyes, he’s got a lot of baggage. And what a lot of people can’t grasp, is money doesn’t make it easier. Being rich and famous doesn’t make you happy. 9/10 times it only makes things worse. Depression isn’t just being “sad”. And so many people are quick to say someone’s “depressed for clout/attention”. But skies doesn’t openly talk about it. He’s said a few things over social media, but everyone wants to claim he just wants attention. It’s a sad generation.

For everyone out there, I feel more people deal with depression than they want to admit and that’s okay, maybe. The more people that come forward with this issue the more people may realize that it is part of our make up as a human being. I understand there are very severe cases of depression and one should seek help but for others it can be a normal part of life. Becoming active and doing things for others can help in some cases. Depression is a subject matter we need to discuss more often and sometimes just talking about it can help others. The best to Lil Skies and everyone out there who feels down from time to time and lets pick each other up.
You're so right! I believe that more people suffer from mental health issues than society realizes and people with large platforms talking about them and normalizing them is one of the best things they can do. I think and this is just my personal opinion, the guy was so nervous about going on a big interview like this so he got really high which made his nerves worse (cause that's what I do lol) and then he was asked questions about his depression. Once he relaxes and feels more comfortable you can see him making more eye contact and talking into the mic even if it was adjusted.

he's such a real person. When he was talking about us relating to him through his music, its so true. like it just makes you feel like you aren't alone and he knows it and takes advantage of it to help himself and his fan, and i love that about him
