There’s absolutely no reason they can’t get a ferry running here. It’s been the connection to the city for over 100 years. The businesses can’t make it without the tourist dollars. Someone needs to be held accountable for having only one out of six boats operable plus the two brand new boats that cost the city millions of dollars that can’t pass inspection.
Does the current mayor even know about the Algiers/Canal ferry? The previous administration was determined to get a new terminal built at Canal before he left office. Probably so he could get his name on it. The Half-Moon Landing. I guess he ran out of time.
@@504RoadTrips SMH, they had the Ferry's built, the ones that are sitting tied up in the river on the WB, the ones that will need to be refurbished by the time they get their shi* together and put them in service
That bar should be filled with thirsty US NAVY sailors and strategic sealift Merchant Mariners from the nearby Naval Support Activity. Happy Holidays to all my shipmates & civilian friends in NOLA, let the good times roll! Carry on!
