Florida June 2023 Day 11: SOAKED! All WATER RIDES at Universal Orlando, Disney Springs & More!

- Join me and Laura for an action packed day back in Orlando! Starting by grabbing a Starbucks Coffee Drive Through, we head down the I4 to Universal Orlando Resort to Islands of Adventure for a very water themed morning, riding all of the water rides at the park and giving you hints, tips and tricks for your very own water ride experience at Universal! We rode Popeyes Barges, Ripsaw Falls and Jurassic Park river adventure.
We then head to Disney Springs for some Lunch, where i ate at Chicken Guys and Laura had a Blaze Pizza! After abit of Disney shopping we head back to the Solara Resort for some surfing lessons on the wave machine/flow rider!
To finish of our Magical day we head to Celebration Town to eat in the Town Tavern restaurant, one of my favorite restaurants in Kissimmee. We also take a look in the shops in the town area too!

Hilarious Vlog! Love that you did a water day too! We did the same thing but didn’t bring any spare clothes! Rookie mistake! 😂😂😂 We got SOAKED!! had the best time and still laughing at all the £0.59p credits on my bank statement from using the water guns! Happy memories made! I also posted our video of the water guns to the facebook group! Enjoy! 😂

Laura I agree musketeers are the best. For those old enough to remember just like original milly way. A tip I always wear swimmong shorts when going on watet rides they dry really quickly. Love the vlogs 😊😊

Loved this one. We stayed for one night at royal pacific to get the fast pass it was so much cheaper to do this. Payback on the water guns was so funny

A water ride day, and Laura had spent alot of time on her hair,,,she well deserved her trip to Sephora. We have a big breakfast before going into the parks and take gatorade and snacky foods in with us. Trail mix, nuts, bananas, apples, cerealbars, pretzels, etc. Will buy say a childrens meal in the park, then a good evening meal outside. ❤ thats how we do it. 😊

IV hydration packs, cooling towels you put ice and cold water on them wrap around your neck, an umbrella to block the sun, we freeze Gatorade zeros as well.

It was a very good Florida road trip blog day 11 yesterday when you chilling out getting wet and soaked on all the water rides at Universal , chilling out and relaxing having your lunch and some drinks at chicken guy restaurant at disney springs , it was very funny when mick Garvey was on the flow rider ride and family for the Florida road trip vibes Andrew and Laura / Garvey family

As a few have said Bag drop is yet to re-open and may not come back at all so I’ve heard
No bag drop off for Virgin since it was discontinued during Covid... And it was not free it was $10 per person👍

I always take a fresh top for us, a towel is always in my bag rolled up, it’s habit from bringing my daughter, we have our Mac’s. Rolled up in our bags just in case the rain starts or we go on the rides, the top top is to wear the lightest clothing you can as they dry really quickly 😅😅😅

We tend to get to the parks early, hammer the rides and leave about 3 pm go back to the villa for a wash change and siesta then out for a meal or meal then the fireworks at the parks , we always rest when tired in the parks by going on an air con or easy ride like , people mover , spiderman , minion's, Ellen degeneras ride , carousel of the ages to give the feet a rest, but always stay hydrated with water or energy drinks 😊
Used to love Pleasure Island way before it was called Disney Springs, had some great night clubs.
Not sure they do the Virgin bag drop off anymore at Disney springs.

I was told virgin don’t do a check in at Disney springs they haven’t since the start of covid and don’t know if it’s coming back (it was a few months ago someone told me so could’ve changed)

You can always put your shoes in the dryer. Put them either on the lowest heat for about 15 - 20 minutes, or on the air tumble option. Check the label on the shoes first to see if you can. (kind of like the dishwasher safe labels.) Also, some villa owners may ban you from using the dryer for shoes, so check your contract. Disney World is reporting low park attendance this summer. Likely due to the high temperatures.
Didnt have that much time for dryer unfortunately lol
@@TheKnightStrider people make the mistake of putting the dryer on high, or even medium, which can make the plastic on the shoes melt. That’s why most people/laundromats say no shoes in the dryer. But if you do it at the lowest level, or on air, you’ll be fine next time.

Hey there! This summer has been brutal. 🥵 I have 2 suggestions. 1) Get yourself some Liquid IV packets from the store and carry with you in the park. Mix in your water bottle. I think these are safe for diabetics but research to be safe. 2) If you are feeling very dehydrated, drink pickle juice. Might sound gross but it really works. And you can buy this at the store too! 😁 Stay cool!

😂😂 we went on Popeye's last year. My partner was fumming and in a right mood with me after going on it 😅. I didn't force him on it and said I would go on my own. I love water rides but he's not so keen unless it's just a drizzle 😆

Hi, enjoying your vlogs. We are going to Florida in October and staying on International Drive. What would be the best way to get to Disney Springs as we are not planning on hiring a car?
We stayed on I drive last October and we didn’t have a car, we used Uber to get to Disney springs
Yous need to try Valhalla at Blackpool pleasure beach that gets you the wettest
I thought Disney had stopped the Virgin drop off
Best tip is to wear your swimming costume under your clothes, and take a change of underwear/ clothes to change into after the rides
Disney Springs check in for VA is no more Andrew,they never opened again after Covid,doubt it will come back now as the desks have gone .

On Popeye's bilge rats , I always strip down to my boxers and put all my clothes and trainers in the centre under the waterproof cover , only issue last time was I wore white Calvin Klein's which went see through when wet , so when I came off I was drying myself and a woman was trying to cop a look , so Jackie moved to block her view , only for her to move so she could still see , Jackie wasn't happy 😂 I had a change of boxers which I was trying to put on using Jackie as a shield hence her angst against the woman 😂
No Andrew taking a poncho on the water ride is cheating 😅😅😅
