Virnali Nebrida-Sunga yes!!! you gotta mute the strings just right and tap hard as shit . he makes it looks easy. I'm sure he's spent countless hours on just doing that alone
I'm pretty sure he's not actually tapping in the normal way. It looks like tapped harmonics to me, which requires you to really bounce your fingers off the string so you don't deaden the note, which would explain the long wind-up. It also doesn't have to be quite as accurate, although his look very accurate anyway.
A supergroup album with Tati Shmayluk on vocals, Carstairs on guitar, Aria Novi on bass and Abe Cunningham on drums. It would be like Pantera on alien roids
This was pretty badass! Giving it a second listen now. Really glad to hear some modern metal that isn't just 0-0-0-0-1-0! This is some creative stuff right here!
He's talented, but his writing isn't catchy or fun to listen to; just high-pitched squeaks and scales that don't sound great. Plus his ears are crazy ugly.
To think I used to hang out with these guys in Andrew’s garage a few times while they practiced growing up, and seeing where they’re at NOW… incredible! Much love🤘🏼🖤
MY FAVORITE SONG OFF THE ALBUM!!!!! Seriously why are people only reacting to songs that have music videos of lyric videos? The best songs are always the ones without videos. This song and Sapphire from The Flesh Prevails are the best songs they ever produced imo.
@@sephiroth10191 The Night Reveals and The Prodigal Son both have such unique vibes and I'd agree are some of Fallujah's best work. Levitation and Become One are also some of my favorite by them. Honestly, I am just vibing to all of them going into 2023 lol
To comment on just one aspect of his playing: Many of his rapid taps are *harmonic taps*, perfectly executed. Difficulty level = 11/10 (playing for 40+ years, can confirm). Yet he's relaxed and grooving. WTAF.
Awesome guitar player!, I met Scott finishing Falluja's show in February 2020 at Guadalajara in Mexico :,) and then 2 days later I saw him again in Mexico City, it was an awesome show
ablougabla chemical cave has a sick riff. I personally prefer it over sapphire. The dead sea is great, don't misunderstand me, but venom upon the blade is one damn masterpiece of a song. Also the high vocals in the void alone are top notch. I don't disagree with your list, but it isn't mine, personally. But it's great to have different opinions !
Lol bro I can't believe I forgot about Venom. I often talk about the outro being the most intense/beautiful in modern metal. The only thing for me I think is that it doesn't get interesting until its second half IMO

This is because this model is a 70th anniversary special. It just has some special features in it. You can order any other model that you liked and customize it to what you want and it will still be a wonderful instrument. I made a 6 string fretless Aries bass and it didn't turn out too expensive (around 1800-1900 USD) and it is phenomenal, any increase in the price would be for cosmetic features.
7 string K Series guitars with Floyd Rose trems start at $2999. Email sales@kieselguitars.com or call (858)GUITARS to get exact pricing for the specs on this guitar.
Gorgeous guitar . I'm pretty inteerested in a set neck guitar and would love if this model was available with set-through neck as well . Neck thru is fine but tonally , it doesn't work as well for me as set or bolt . Set neck being the construction I like the most .
This dude followed me on instagram. I followed him back and messaged him about how dope this song was and we had a little chat. And then he unfollowed me lol
@@austinmorris4471 It's whatever haha. Probably just trying to gain more followers with that technique. I do a similar thing but I don't unfollow anyone who follow me
I have heard far worse vocals than that of the ones on Iowa and Waking the Fallen I'm not saying you have to like those albums, but you can't deny their existence either. I was under the impression that the tech death community was pretty open to musical diversity though. How else do you think it as a genre keeps seeing such evolution and creativity? You have to be open to new things and to explore to craft such intricate and unique music. I thought that the people who listened to metal just for the sake of "it's heavy" were the kind that stuck with deathcore. People like that never struck me as the type to like saxophones and flutes making their way onto The Faceless albums, or sung female vocals on Fallujah albums. Honestly if you guys are complaining about clean vocals, what are you guys doing listening to Fallujah? There's not only clean vocals, but _girly_ unheavy ones!
the way how he utilizes the tremolo is amazing. Very delicate and tasteful
Man, this guy is tight. Such a long hitting distance with the tapping, I'm impressed he can do that without missing.
Dan Saillant I'm impressed he can do it cleanly
Virnali Nebrida-Sunga yes!!! you gotta mute the strings just right and tap hard as shit . he makes it looks easy. I'm sure he's spent countless hours on just doing that alone

@@KyleMcMullan_Musician
that's correct. Tapped harmonics also don't need to be as precise as actual tapping since you never push the string down.
@@Exgrmbl Yeah, that is what I said. Except you do mean "accurate" not "precise".
Glad there's a play through for this song, this is probably the best on the album.
Along with abandon of course. The whole album is incredible imo
Wow, most of the bands that I like, such as Fallujah, The Zenith Passage, Archspire, Obscura, Rivers of Nihil, and so on, are now Kiesel players. Nice
LunaXEmi have you ever played a Kiesel? These guitars are so well made, they're almost perfect. Their tone and structure are incredible!

Dude Scott is on a whole different level. I love watching him play.
Seriously a massively underrated guitarist. He's so damn good.
He's talented, but his writing isn't catchy or fun to listen to; just high-pitched squeaks and scales that don't sound great. Plus his ears are crazy ugly.
Opinions n stuff.
Creep Are you kidding? I wonder what your songs sound like... oh wait
I initially felt the same about Fallujah. They just sounded like mindless noise, but they are in fact very catchy and great to listen to.
This is one of the most epic songs to end an album with that I ever heard, and will always be one of my favorite songs.
Most unique and beautiful solos i've heard in a single song damnn
Holy hell I miss old fallujah. Bring that singer back!
He's in Muldrotha now check them out! Also the old guitarist Rob is in there too
That tapping is so effortless!
I'm in love with that guitar omfg! And Scott's playing is unlike any other! Beautiful combination
Took these guys parting after a show in mcallen a long ass time ago 😂😂.. really some of the coolest dudes out there and musical guinuse

the control on this man and the absolute tightness of it all wow

The whole Dreamless album kicks ass. If you don't own it, stop watching this video and go get it!
That is some goddamned legendary playing fluidity and skill mate. I must admit.
wow your technique is really amazing, fallujah is my fav prog metal band, very technique, good sound, nice song, perfect !!!!

So fucking awesome. Hope to see you live one day.
He makes the guitar sound like a violin ! damn
That guitar is so beautiful, I'm not good enough at guitar to justify buying a kiesel but maybe one day
Lol im right there man, 3k+$? Fuuuuck
I can shred some Lamb of God but this shit is downright incredible. Always good to have something to strive for.
Yeah LOG guitar parts are a walk in the field compared to Fallujah guitar parts.

Beautiful Guitar . I'd love to see this exact model but with the set neck construction that the contour and Litchford model have .
Well, new favorite song
wow...wow...wow...amazing...nice....
I'd like to see a tour with Fallujah and The Faceless
Is that regular tapping in the intro or tapped harmonics? He’s using a lot of movement so it suggests harmonics
tapped harmonics
whoever writes these guitar parts is nuts, the post rock elements are sick
Scott writes all of the guitar parts to all of their music - with the exception of only a couple of solos that Brian wrote.

Any hint about what gear was used to get that perfect chuggy metal tone?
That riff there at 3:43 is sick.
Is he tapping or hitting the harmonics? Looks so weird but sounds so good.
Josh Petit looks to be hitting the natural harmonics.
I love fallujah
Went to learn this song and realized those were tap harmonics, I still don’t have any idea how he got them so fast and precise.
The anthem to this world dying out, knowing that no other species or being in the universe will ever know we were here.
NICE!
How can get that guitar build. The virtual build page does not allow to achieve this guitar l think
It's a K-Series which means you'll need to call in.

Fine looking instrument

top song off Dreamless top 3 of Fallujah along with The Dead Sea and Sapphire.
dead sea for the emotion, lacuna for the riffs, sapphire for the song writiing/structure
