Romans: Why the Gospel is Good News, Part 59: Love Your Enemies - Leave Vengeance to God

As Christ Followers, we are called to live honorable in the sight of all, not paying back evil with evil. God actually calls us to love our enemies in hopes that they might come to know Christ as Lord and Savior. When we as Christians do this (by the grace of God in us), it is a very powerful thing that God uses because it is such an anomoly. They cannot understand why anyone would or could ever do that! It is a witness to the gospel because this is what Christ did for us while we were still God's evil enemies, Christ deid for us (Rom 5:8). We are to leave vengeance to God. He is both Just and Justifier! In the end, He will make all this perfectly right.
