Bhai tiger 3 released during the biggest holiday season of the year. This was the best time. Regarding the WC, we could expect low collections during India match days but the movie could not collect good amount even on other days because of poor word of mouth

I am a shahrukh khan fan but I would say that Salman entry in pathaan was way better than shahrukh in tiger 3 It’s mainly coz of the director Maneesh Sharma is a rom com director But still he did a good work But Siddharth Anand was on another level

The director completely missed the epic car chase and the heist sequences . And the torture stuff could have taken a little darker side too . Maneesh is more into making low budget grounded movies like shudh desi romance and zor laga ke hai sha In my opinion Kabir Khan should have directed this movie...he has good hold in making serious movies like Newyork and Phantom he could have done justice to tiger 3...

Nothing went wrong. It went exactly as expected. Salman has clearly lost the pull factor after doing horrible movies like Tube light, Race 3, Radhe, Dabangg 3, Kisi Ki Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. Although Tiger 3 was much better than his last movies, people had lost faith on his movies already. And while the movie is collecting well, the budget is so hight it looks like it'll be a flop.
Well if you remove Salman from this movie. I dont think this movie could have breached 150 crs in India. Salman still has that pull but he needs to select the right script or else his stardom can only give a slight push to the film rest its decided by content

We can't keep comparing all the upcoming big studio releases with the BO collections of Pathaan, Jawan. They were like catching lighting in a bottle moment. Low n Mid budget movies are safe from that because since the budget is less so even if they earn 100-200 cr it is still good collection. TIger 3 has a whopping budget of 350 crs so to get proper BO results it has to cross at least 400-500 cr. Biggest advantage which is almost exclusive to SRK that his global fanbase and wide range of audience. Automatically elevates the Worldwide numbers to an unparalled level.

i think, the reason TIGER 3 couldn't connect with the audience was that they heavily relied on Salman khan's stardum and Cameos and didn't tried to work on the story telling.

I thk tiger 3 had too much to offer for a normal audience. That's why for a normal audience like my mom , the whole movie went over head . Because when you enter the theatre you expect to see a " salman khan film. " As a normal indian . The movie is good in cinematic aspects and as a cinema lover I enjoyed it but somehow the normal audience who doesn't know about the spy universe and all didn't understand the movie and talking about srk factor, so pathaan was a srk film and they delivered on it , because the highlight of the film was srk himself and it worked . And that's what went wrong with tiger 3 . The normal audience expected salman khan himself to be the highlight but somehow the movie goes to explore other aspects, which is good , but although still in india 95% of the audience is driven by star factor.

See at the end of day 99% of the audience don't know what the spy universe is . The 95% hype of the movie was because of Salman khan. People wanted salman to be back in action. Which pathaan delivered as a srk film , but somehow tiger3 tried to be a good spy film but then they thought let's add some slaman factor , let's add srk and hritik cameo , let's give katrina some spotlight. And it became a mixture of plenty of good things but the execution was totally poor. It feels like you are watching some low cost mission impossible movie with salman khan as lead .
Tiger 3 was overall a good movie. The reason I think behind its failure must be the negative image of Sallu Bhai after doing some cheap movies like Radhe and Kiski Bhai kiski Jaan. Not just Tiger 3, whole YRF Spy Universe get wrong. Tiger 3 is not bad, but it lacks the important things which are interconnection and timeline. YRF people always promotes next to next films in every film unnecessarily, they don't see that some movies are different and takes place in a different time. Pathaan and Tiger 3 doesn't hint a direct future but War depicted the direct future of Kabir. So, Pathaan and Tiger 3 should be before the events of War and where War ended, the story of War 2 should begin from there. There is no need to promote or make a hype of a different story in a film. This causes rework in script and there will be less chances of the universe growth. A Cinematic Universe will grow not just by approaching multiple directors but also focusing on the interconnection and timeline. A film's credit scene must be connected to the entire film. It shows the future of the lead character or a supporting character of the film. It doesn't make hype for a different future film. Tiger 3 deserved what it got.

Overall the film is good, but in terms of execution as a mass movie it actually fails, there was lot of moments where they can create a boom but in the end the climax just happened. There was no impact of that.... everyone expected to watch a abnormal or unimaginable moment but it didn't came.

Nothing went wrong. It went exactly as expected. Salman has clearly lost the pull factor after doing horrible movies like Tube light, Race 3, Radhe, Dabangg 3, Kisi Ki Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. Although Tiger 3 was much better than his last movies, people had lost faith on his movies already. And while the movie is collecting well, the budget is so hight it looks like it'll be a flop.
Well if you remove Salman from this movie. I dont think this movie could have breached 150 crs in India. Salman still has that pull but he needs to select the right script or else his stardom can only give a slight push to the film rest its decided by content
There is no effort for him in his movies and this can be understood from the words of people who worked with him

We can't keep comparing all the upcoming big studio releases with the BO collections of Pathaan, Jawan. They were like catching lighting in a bottle moment. Low n Mid budget movies are safe from that because since the budget is less so even if they earn 100-200 cr it is still good collection. TIger 3 has a whopping budget of 350 crs so to get proper BO results it has to cross at least 400-500 cr. Biggest advantage which is almost exclusive to SRK that his global fanbase and wide range of audience. Automatically elevates the Worldwide numbers to an unparalled level.

I thk tiger 3 had too much to offer for a normal audience. That's why for a normal audience like my mom , the whole movie went over head . Because when you enter the theatre you expect to see a " salman khan film. " As a normal indian . The movie is good in cinematic aspects and as a cinema lover I enjoyed it but somehow the normal audience who doesn't know about the spy universe and all didn't understand the movie and talking about srk factor, so pathaan was a srk film and they delivered on it , because the highlight of the film was srk himself and it worked . And that's what went wrong with tiger 3 . The normal audience expected salman khan himself to be the highlight but somehow the movie goes to explore other aspects, which is good , but although still in india 95% of the audience is driven by star factor.

See at the end of day 99% of the audience don't know what the spy universe is . The 95% hype of the movie was because of Salman khan. People wanted salman to be back in action. Which pathaan delivered as a srk film , but somehow tiger3 tried to be a good spy film but then they thought let's add some slaman factor , let's add srk and hritik cameo , let's give katrina some spotlight. And it became a mixture of plenty of good things but the execution was totally poor. It feels like you are watching some low cost mission impossible movie with salman khan as lead .

Tiger 3 was overall a good movie. The reason I think behind its failure must be the negative image of Sallu Bhai after doing some cheap movies like Radhe and Kiski Bhai kiski Jaan. Umm, imo yrf chose the worst release date... I'm not saying movie is very good. No, but the fact is movie carries a lots of good things. Action, Cinematography, decent story and the salman's one of the best performances if we compare to him from his past movies, He did. Overall it's a good decent one time watchable movie. You'll not get a cringy dialogues and scenes. I'm not saying that if this movie had not released on Diwali, it would have earned 1000 crores. Not just Tiger 3, whole YRF Spy Universe get wrong. Tiger 3 is not bad, but it lacks the important things which are interconnection and timeline. YRF people always promotes next to next films in every film unnecessarily, they don't see that some movies are different and takes place in a different time. Pathaan and Tiger 3 doesn't hint a direct future but War depicted the direct future of Kabir. So, Pathaan and Tiger 3 should be before the events of War and where War ended, the story of War 2 should begin from there. There is no need to promote or make a hype of a different story in a film. This causes rework in script and there will be less chances of the universe growth. A Cinematic Universe will grow not just by approaching multiple directors but also focusing on the interconnection and timeline.
A film's credit scene must be connected to the entire film. It shows the future of the lead character or a supporting character of the film. It doesn't make hype for a different future film. Tiger 3 deserved what it got.

I loved every single movie of Spy Universe but Tiger 3 wasn't good at all because they forgot about realism like so many bullets are being fired and still "Tiger Zinda Hai".
Close range mein bhi jab goliyan chalti hai end mein vo bhi saaf dikhta hai ki gun tiger ki taraf point hai but goliyan nahi paddti.
Mostly Towel scene vo expectations pe khara nahi utarta
1 - Mere hisaab se logo ko mass action movie jada pasand hai na ki serious type movie
2 - Salman Khan phele bhi kaafi flop movie di hai logo ko isliye shayad itni expectations rhi nhi ya wesi hype

Bro you are absolutely totally right. Salman is not SRK, Salman is Salman. He is the only actor in the history of Indian cinema to give most number of 300 cr nett movies, most number of hits, most number of super hits, most number of blockbusters, most number of 3 cr footfalls movies, highest footfall movie after shoaly i.e. Hum aapke hain koun, actor to give most number of consecutive 100 cr and most number of 100 cr nett movies in the history of Indian cinema, his movie bajrangi bhaijaan collected 968 cr nett in worldwide boxoffice when no one was near even 500 cr and the list goes on. It's ok, every actors suffers from a setback, srk also had a huge setback in 2018. His movies did'nt work almost 6 years but he also came back. I also believe that Salman khan will also make a grand comeback and reclaim his throne like he did back in 2009 with wanted. Salman khan is not comparable to any actor, he is a genre in himself. Salman Khan is Salman Khan.
But salman doesn't care that much about numbers ...theres a press confrence clip in whuch he said " maine jitna stardom kamana tha kama liya"...and he always said he will stop doing films if fans will stop coming to theatres for his films and he will invest his time in his other hobbies......and he is a great painter ..he can pursue it professionally ..his paintings are selected for cultural exhibition along with other great legendary artists of our country ....he always said when he was on top that he just thinks that, he is lucky for all that is happening with him and he is enjoying this phase and that even if it will stop one day that day also he will be enjoying his life only...he is not someone who is going to make extreme career choices for generating numbers..he is pretty much content with all that he got in his career...if he gonna do some other kind of films that will only if he would feel doing those movies but not for numbers or box office collection..because he just got them alot
I think its good for him that he is content with his career beacuse imagine even at age of 58 after breaking so many box office records ...and attaining all this stardom if someone is still desperate for box office numbers then he is kinda living a pity life..that person can never get happy ..the real happiness is achieved after being content with your life
