I don't get why every movie has to be morally correct. The title of the movie itself says Animal which means the protagonist is going to be a very problematic character, but some people just don't get it. The problem in India is that a lot of theatres just let kids into Adult movies. Children and teenagers shouldn't be seeing such movies. Animal's success will motivate directors to make even more violent movies and more children will see it. A violent youth or a brigade of children brought up by watching such movies is the last thing India wants. Most of the negative reviews are just moral policing! Also, from the start till the end, from Ranvijay’s Father , wife and sister all consider him a gangster/criminal! The movie does not glorify bloodshed, in fact the characters bemoan his attitude throughout! 👍🏼👍🏼

The thing is I never felt bad for Ranvijay's character in most parts of the movie, the only character I felt bad for is the body double of Balbir singh. And even if Ranvijay's character died I wouldn't have felt bad for him because of the things he have done and that what I love about a character. His character was getting pure dark , he was finding good in his bad , he started to enjoy the suffering of his enemy. For me he was not a hero he was a mad man and it was a story of an blood curving animal.

Much needed & much appreciated a very non biased commentary. It's a fictional story not biopic, did we get inspired by baghban & ham sath sath hai? Are we actually influenced so much by just 3hrs of a movie or we are influenced by friends/family/other social relationships. It's important for woke people to call out misogynistic behavior in every movie & not be biased or try to call out this movie just because it will get eyeballs.

I always wanted a story arc
How that boy get into violence, and think about violence is the option for him to protect his sister or violence is the way he could prove to his father
The director could have added a whole lot of depth to Ranvijay's character where as he chooses to neglect it completely and make him a alpha male
With two brainless scene where he manages to convince rashmika
And another not so well written Dimri's role
    What more upsets me,
that in one hand director choose to stick to reality (like using headphone indoor fighting scene, he eventually lost multiple senses because of fight) close to reality well done
Then on other hand director choose to let us presume how can a boy from class 11/12 have the immense power in his one hand to the rifle facing towards ground without having any impact to his arm or shoulder due to gun's recoil, the director failed to explain us where do ranvijay acquire such fighting skill ( let just presume it is a natural thing for him he is god gifted)
What about his brothers? How come they are so well trained and well coordinated ?? They get into a office starts to knock off literally well trained security just like a piece of cake
Overall the movie isn't that great, and can be felt overhyped (3.5/5)
I do have positive points for the movie too
