Im 17 years old boy from India.I was addicted to Lust,Porn,depression etc.My life was total in darkness.I always look at any girl with lust (Usually with sexual thoughts).At that time i was a dogmatic Hindu.I spoke against those who follow Jesus,i was hater of Christianity.But once when everything seems to be out of my control in my family also because at that time we had serious finance and health problems,I cried out to Lord(i even was not aware of his name as here in India just like Muslims he is known as "Isha Masih") and he heared my prayer and answered me.I began to seek him and as it is written in Jeremiah 29:13 "You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart".Now,its been three years following Lord and my all addictions each and everything has gone.My lust and every negative thoughts has gone since i admitted to Lord.Lord has also healed my mom and dad by his grace through my prayers from many diseases which seems terrible.Im doing very well in my academy(at that time i was zero especially in science and maths) But now Lord is leading me in the field of apologetic and science(Im writing rebuttals to atheist Physicists like Sean Carroll,Lawrence krauss,Stephan hawkings etc. By studying their books. Im also studying Brian Green's book on string theory,Michio kaku's. I have created two blog one on apologetic and one on cosmology ) I know he will use me to establish his kingdom.I preach Gospel to my friends and by his help i have saved approx.10 or more souls to him and preach word of God online .Here is no church in my province(it is full hindu dominated area) but still Christ is in my heart.My family still persecute me for following Christ but i have Jesus' words on heart"Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account"(Matthew 5:11).My family warn me that if i followed Christ then they will reject me.But i don't care,If Jesus did 2000 years ago in his love for me,why i shouldn't sacrifice anything for his love. Hey man. Glad you’re out of the ‘new age’ train. I pray that God sustains you on the straight and narrow path.
I’d just like to give a few tidbits I’ve had to follow in my own journey of faith (as someone who is also sensitive and targeted, got involved way too deep with the spiritual, and by the grace of God was saved from the pits):
1) God will seem to provide an asymmetry of information, as in it is enough for some of the elect to know all this, and some others to be guided by the Holy Spirit in other ways. There are Esthers and there are Isaiahs, there are Pauls and there are Dorcases.
This includes but is not limited to the correct discernment of/for ‘conspiracies’, COVID vaccines, etc. (a lot of which is misdirection and misinfo quite frankly, propagated by overconfident people online)
There are Spirit-filled people around the world who aren’t given that info. That’s fine. God keeps us on a need-to-know basis. The Holy Spirit is actually keeping me away from information of the world to focus and rely solely on God and His Word, for instance. It may differ for you.
(As a placeholder example) If God wills that some Christians receive (e.g.) COVID vaccines, He will take care of those of His flock. Also, salvation is of the spirit (as for now); note that much of the righteous during the downfall of Judah were ‘preserved’ from God’s wrath through what looked to be tragic deaths.
2) Don’t get too caught up on what I call the ‘RUclips denomination’. There is useful information here and there but many beliefs and statements are shoddy and conspiratorial, largely going unquestioned. There are many who boldly speak of Christ but discount others of the body of Christ. There’s pseudo-mysticist epistemology running rampant, with claims that they’re all being guided.
The Holy Spirit often speaks through Scripture and is not (always) a fact checker. Especially when you’re fresh out of other spiritual influences, it’s absolutely critical to discern every spiritual phenomena (including gifts) and voice. As professor and deliverance minister/pastor Dr. Kurt E. Koch observed, “If spiritual gifts are not used for the glory of God, then they are likely to be demonic.” Indeed, people converting from shamanism or new age have all these abilities pop up, and not always for the good.
3) It is fine to be part of a denomination or to read other versions of the Bible.
If, for instance, you’re called to serve at a Reformed church (as I am), you may feel limited but sometimes God wills it. A seminary student or professor isn’t (necessarily) ‘brainwashed’. Non-denominational Holy-Spirit driven faith, which so many these days profess to have, is laden with its own presuppositions and theology, and most dangerously, is a path often lacking a community of faith that will correct you. So much of what I’ve seen is New Agey, but I do affirm that there are those who are called to this path by the Holy Spirit.
(I’d say be wary of 7th day Adventism; it’s straightened out its act in the past few decades, but its inception was full of false prophecies and absurdly incorrect Biblical interpretations)
With regards to Bible translations, the KJV isn’t ‘the best preserved’; the Masoretic Texts, Septuagint, DSS are, aka source texts from which translations stem. Some translations indeed butcher the Bible, and they should not be perused. However, if you know Hebrew and Greek as well as the task of translation, you can study Scripture and understand WHY there are inevitably differences in translation, and how the KJV isn’t necessarily authoritative in every aspect and verse. Not everything is conspiratorial (sigh), though the devil certainly lurks in church history.
4) The Day of the LORD is coming soon. My personal opinion is that it’s critical for us to love God and our neighbors, bearing the fruits of the Holy Spirit (Gal 5). It’s such an undervalued, misunderstood, and ignored command in the body of Christ today (hence the exhortations to ‘return to the early days of Christianity’ not producing results). Clanging cymbals make terrible harvesters and fishers of men.
Let’s rejoice in the sanctification that God works in us. May you always be a humble servant of Christ!
@@sonOfTheL1vingGod It’s definitely a demanding walk, but looking back it’s always been the Holy Spirit working in me that got me toward any progress, not myself and my sinful nature. I couldn’t quite ‘get’ Galatians previously despite understanding its claims; it truly demands to be lived out.
I was just bringing up DSS to contest the widespread ‘authorized version’ claims on this website. Much of the fragments have turned out genuine while a few ‘discovered’ at a later date were forgeries. There’s not a whole lot of difference with the version we know today considering the narrative and theology - the difference mostly lies in lexical differences and organization from what I’ve seen. It just serves to show that the Bible is a remarkably well-preserved document, and also sheds light on the political and spiritual expectations of the Essenes, whose zeal reminds me of similar types in today’s end times both in good ways and bad.
I do think intertestamental literature such as the books of Enoch are of some value. However, I do not presume to know whether 1 and 2 Enoch are inspired like Scripture, nor whether it is factual and passed down faithfully throughout the ages.

Good testimony. When you felt the fire of the Holy Spirit He most definitely was burning something off of you - as there is only burning when He is burning off demons - otherwise the Holy Spirit is more of a warm and fuzzy kind of feeling - it is hard to describe in words for sure.
Also sometimes when or if you are feeling that - it also could indicate an attack from the enemy. I find many times it is from those using astral projection, transcendental meditation or remote viewing to attack - but sometimes they have sent an evil spirit to attack you.

Wow. You encourage believers to read the book of Revelation. God Bless you! You are one of the very few who actually gets it. Revelation has fourteen chapters about a seven year period called the tribulation and hardly anyone tries to understand what the book says. They quote one verse from Daniel or one verse from Matthew and then fill in the blanks. I haven't figured out how to reach them.
Revelation has a lot of symbolic language and some of the chapters seem out of sequence...but...the book is not meant to be understood by people that rebel against God. It's hidden from them.
You will be raptured, (rescued) from the judgement that's coming upon the evil that's in this world and your family will know why you have 'vanished' once the tribulation begins.
The Bible is the only book where God states future events as if they were history. He knows how many hairs are on your head. I'll see you in the rapture.

I used to say the name Yeshua a lot and i believed the name Jesus until i actually found out that Jesus comes from iesu which comes from the Hebrew Yeshu
If his name was Yeshua it would actually be Yeshuo because Ancient Hebrew shows the Ayin being the letter O than modern hebrew changed the Ayin to A
The Complete Jewish Bible concordance states that Jesus is Yeshu in Modern Hebrew and Yeshu is translated to Jesus from over 4 languages
Jesus is spelled Yeshu Masih in a few languages if we type Yeshu Masih on youtube video search than videos of Jesus will show from Marathi and Hindi Christian videos because they say Jesus as Yeshu
Yeshu means to blot out and obliterate the messiah name and memory this is why Yeshu is spelled iesu in early Greek and Latin and middle English and now Jesus is iesu in Welsh language

We in Christ are not under the law and 10 commandments. Jesus gave us two commands: love God with all your heart, and love your neighbor as yourself. The only way to truly know if you were baptized by the Holy Spirit and have become born again is if you have STOPPED sinning. You will be HOLY in all of your ways-- in your flesh and in your spirit.
Last days are now, which means we are at the end of the book (Revelation). It seems like the Lord is trying to get your attention. Jesus told us to be ready and watching and to pray always to be worthy to escape all the things coming upon the earth.

I agree with most of what you're saying, we must imitate Christ but, our works don't take us to heaven. Saving faith produces good works and wanting to please God.
Romans 13:9
For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not steal, You shall not covet,” and any other commandment, are summed up in this word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
If we love our neighbors we plant seeds for our enemies and if we love God we desire to stay away from sin, Grace teaches us to NOT sin and helps us to stay away from it.
Messianic judaism is leading people back under bondage and we must becareful, we are not led by the LAW but, by the SPIRIT (galatians 5:18). And the spirit teaches us to stay away from sin better than the law ever could.

James said a man is not justified by faith alone but by works

@@Bantuisrael God bless you bro, this is actually crucial to understand. Check out this verse, what is Paul saying to Peter? Yes, the extra commandments the pharisees made up put us into bondage, i agree we should follow the law but, what we have to understand is that the law is fulfilled when we love our neighbors and love God, love is an action word. And I agree modern day apostasy is rampant in the churches..people that believe Jesus died so they can keep on sinning will be in for a rude awakening and I feel for them. Christ died so that the power of sin is broken and with His help and strength through the Holy Spirit we may be able to walk in Holiness..not to say we will be perfectly sinless but, that we should strive to live blameless and holy. At least until we receive our glorified bodies.
