i love how realistic this build is! my fav part is the kitchen because of the little opening it has where u can see into the kitchen from the living room!

Growin up in the South early 2000s this was how several of my friends homes looked!! We lived in a more recent cookie cutter builder grade suburb but all the older ones looked like this :)

Thank you so much!! Creating a save file is an idea I’ve toyed with but I haven’t committed to yet. It’s definitely something I want to do in the near future though!

Is this playtested? I don’t see any way for sims to prepare meals in the kitchen. Just quick meals from the microwave. Is this intentional?
Have you really not seen the hob + oven in the middle of the kitchen for the whole length of the video? 😂
I didn’t play test it, no, but it should be fully functional. I believe I ended up removing the microwave so there’s more counter space. And yes there is a stove 🙂

@@magylandshe meant the fact that there’s items on all the countertops the sims won’t prepare food if there is even 1 item on the counter

Hey Wolf, love your content :) I was wondering what that colour wheel is? I haven't seen it before!
Thanks so much!! The color wheel pops up when you click on the light to set color and intensity for the lights in the home. It usually works only in live mode but the betterbuildbuy mod allows you to set it in build mode 🙂

Hi there, how did you place the counter and cabinets without obstructing with the pillar? I can't seem to do it.
and also what mod did you use to freely place the hanging wall lights?
Hey! So I use the Better Build Buy mod and it makes it so the move objects on cheat is always on (among some other useful build mode stuff) But if you don’t use mods, just use that cheat and you should be able to place a wall there, put up the cabinets, then make the wall into a half wall and add a pillar.
As for the wall lights, just hold down the ALT key while placing so you can place without grid snapping! Hope that helps!
