Hobby jumping is so important for creatives! I finish more knitting projects when I am also learning a new craft. When I'm bored with life I also get bored with knitting - though I still buy yarn during those times and my stash gets too much to fit the shelves 🙄😳😂
Jenny my dear. I love the Berroco striped sweater !! I used to carry that yarn when I had my shop. So nice to work with : ) Can't wait to see it finished : )
So for the Minto sweater, there are only 2 decrease rounds, one at the beginning of the last pattern repeat that shrinks the purls between the cables from 2 purls to one purl (e.g. for size b, you're going from 112 st to 98 st here), and then one at the beginning of the ribbing to setup the ribbing (98 st to 70 st). I hope this helps!
I love that colour pink on you, I’m impressed you made it through the whole video wearing mohair! I’ve used Craftsy for a while now to learn how to spin and to think about learning how to weave. I think I’m also a member of PPYC (perpetually playing yarn chicken) for garments.
I believe that the Cascade cotton yarn is shiny and rope-like because it is mercerized. Cascade writes that “it is much softer than other cotton yarns and because it’s mercerized using a different process; we believe it’s in a league of its own”. So it might actually be softer that other mercerized yarns. The Berroco cotton yarn is unmercerized, which makes it softer and more matte.
OMG thank you for reminding me of the Simply Your Sweater! I've been trying to find the simplest drop-sleeve pattern and I've had this saved for AGES. For some reason, I kept seeing it and thinking it was just another raglan (which is great, but not what I want right now). You have gotten me past DAYS of searching for the right thing. I can't explain how no other patterns were "the right one," but I'm sure you get it haha. THANK YOU!!
The sweater you have on turned out really pretty but I bet it is hot. I live in Florida so I don’t use mohair. Thanks for the Simply Your Sweater info. I downloaded it and will be making it eventually. 🧶
MHJ jumper is hilarious and it got sold out in a minutes so good you can make one lol The pink cardigan that you got on this episode is sooooo nice and suits you!! Can't wait for next episode already! (p.s. get that bag guuuurl
I can't wait to see how your Minto turns out! That pattern has been on my to-knit list forever but I still don't know which color I would like 😄 I have one pair of the addi squared and as you, I just find them ok - nothing against them but also nothing that would bring me to buy more of those 😄. I think they are more geared towards people with arthritis and stuff? It does make them less slippery than their normal metal needles though. Personally, I can't use the chiagoo needles as I can't stand that slightly rough metal and the sound it makes so I love the super slick addis 😄😄 you can knit really fast with them but transporting your project is a pain without needle stoppers 😂
Omg diva I have some of that purl soho Coorie mohair in the silver lilac color leftover from a sweater I made last year, I’d be willing to send you a skein if you need! I think the sweater I made it with is too scratchy and can’t I figure out what else I’d want to make with it, so it’d be no problem lol
The first 1,000 people to use my link will get a full year of Premium membership to Craftsy for only $1.49: go.craftsy.com/futurefiber/
I just about spit out my drink when you said you were in "stockinette hell". Excellent delivery 😂
Congrats on getting sponsored!!!
Your pink mohair sweater is lovely and looks great on you
I love being here. 🩷 For the knits and for the humour.

I recently found your channel… and love your style and funny quirky output. Very refreshing, thank you!
Wow I was surprised to see a MHJ sweater lookalike but didn't think that's what it really was until you confirmed it. Amazing progress!
This pink colour was made for you 🩷

The pink looks amazing on you!! (Hasn't even started watching the video yet 😂)
The min heejin sweater 😭😭😭 everytime I saw you post it I was like… is that…
🌚 🧢🎤
Agree on the button choice. Much classier than plastic.
The Cognac cardigan is sooooo gorgeous on you! I really want to just copy your yarn choice
I love holding mohair with yarn with a cotton content! You could give that a try if you find it too hot. Like Holst Coast or KFO Cotton Merino!
🤩the sweater!!
I prefer to think of it as skill expansion rather than hobby jumping 🤣. I love PMC - have fun!

@@futurefiber yeah ofc no problem, anything to help someone not loose yarn chicken!! I’ll dm you on ig bc idk how to do it on here🤡🤡🤡
not 100% up on korean trends, but I THINK your pattern for the simply your sweater is a refence to min hee jin's press conference outfit? maybe?
👀✅
Was there a pigeon in the tree??
we have like 100 mourning doves cooing around my apartment at all times :(
The knitter to jewelry making pipeline is too real 😔
