  • Welcome! These clips are from a large video collection that is now being converted from VHS/Beta to digital many from the 70's, 80's and 90's. SADLY, I DON'T HAVE THE ORIGINAL AIR DATES! There is some viewing quality loss from the original video source due to the age of the tapes, but the performances are preserved and still a joy to view. I'm finding many lost performances from vintage R&B, Soul, Pop, Broadway, Cabaret and other performances. This channel will be the Ed Sullivan channel for the digital generation, something for everyone to enjoy. Many of the performances will be seen for the first time since they were originally televised. I will be adding many musical performances from a variety of sources that I hope you will enjoy. Please hit the like button.

Oh, this is a very sad day.....11/26/21. Stephen Sondheim has passed away. I've been singing his songs for more than half my life. His songs FEEL so beautiful to sing. He gave the world, and Broadway Babies, anong the most beautiful gifts in the world: gorgeous music and lyrics. R.I.P., Maestro Stephen Sondheim.

RIP Sondheim. I heard he passed away 10 days ago at the ripe age of 91.
Thank you for the video. The quiet smile and slight twinkle in his eyes as he leaned in to hear a montage of his greatest works, that grin, is how I want to remember him. It's the excitement I get from listening to a live show. 😌

I had never imagined I could grieve so much even though I never stop playing and singing Stephens wonderful songs and lyrics. He has touched me heart and soul like no other composer ever has. I continue to break into tears as if he were my closest relative. What a loving man he was to all people.

All of these wonderful performers giving us a chance to witness greatness from Sondheim's genius. I'm still tearfully but now, over a week later, tears of joy.
