I think you don't get hooked since the first scenes of DOTS may be so boring with the scene of the 2 soldiers fighting with each other. My biggest mistake for missing an interesting K-drama is that I am too impatient. Maybe waiting for drama to build the temper of characters to make it more interesting. In fair lady, it took me 2 eps to get interesting. Sometime like divorce lawyer in love is so boring at first but later has no idea it is so interesting
