In this tutorial, Dan Worrall explains the basics of FabFilter Saturn. He starts with a simple single-band saturation example explaining the available algorithms and most important controls of the plug-in. Finally, he explains some more complex setups, using multiple bands and making use of the extensive modulation section. Enjoy!

Yes! I just got mine. Very impressed and the depth of what it can do... Plenty to be going on with.
I only started using these recently after struggling with all the other crap out there and I have to say that within a few hours I managed to clean and enhance my sound beyond what I ever expected from VSTs. Saturn and FabQ are the best Saturators and EQ/filters I've ever used, respectively. Heck, all the plugins are awesome!
what u guys do at fabfilter is next level, i dont think any1 in the world making plugins can match the cleverness 10/10
I just got the trial for this tool last night. This is absolutely wonderful. Simple interface and absurdly versatile. Wonderful.
My focus is at its best when watching Dan Worrall's tutorials. Kudos to FabFilter for making this incredible plugin!

I oversaw a mastering of an EP I mixed a couple of months ago. They used FabFilter plug-ins, all new to me at the time. Now I’m sold - they made wonders and I love the interface! I’ve used only UAD stuff since 2012 but this gives another dimension.
Did the use Saturn (this one) as a saturation plugin for mastering?

Thanks. I eventually settled on Trash 2, and don't regret it- it's an amazing sound design tool and all in one multipresser, EQ and filter- in addition to the great distortions.
Loving the crossover as it also makes the plugin function as an EQ and multiband compressor besides providing the distortion what it's actually all about! Seriously considering a purchase right now.
I simply love Fabfilter GUIs. So usable and clear, easy to work with. Bravo Fabfilter! Not to mention that this is one of the very best saturating/distortion plugins I've ever heard. ;)

This is the best distortion/saturation plug to date. I immediately stopped using Ohmicide when I got this.

The "scream4 distortion" in Reason is the only reason I use Reason now, ive never got on with ohmicide but this looks AMAZING.

The greatest saturation plugin ever made
Looks like an ace plugin, and I really really want it... But I just know I'd spend hours messing around with it and getting fuck all done musically, at least for the first few weeks. It's always a double-edged sword having so many possibilities. Sounds great though.
+OscarC I thought that but seriously, go for it, it's very user-friendly and one of my top 5 plugins. This tutorial really helps max out the possibilities.I use it for drum&bass production but I think it could be applied to anything. Best saturation plugin on the market.

El setting de Clean Tube le añade una distorsión sutil 1:10. Warm tube tiene más color con un low End más fat 1:20. Broken tube (1:28) es más extremo, y queda muy sucio cuando el drive supera el 50%. También tenemos estos settings en tape Mode (Clean tape...) Y hace lo mismo pero le da ese sonido de tape (efecto de cinta). El modo Destroy 2:20, es una combinación de bitcrushing, reduce el sample rate y clipea un poco, muy extremo. Rectify también es muy extremo. El knob de dynamic Range puede aumentar el rango dinámico a la izquierda o comprimir mucho a la derecha. El Smooth amp (4:00) da un sonido suave y "cristalino" a guitarras o parecido
