Revlon Colorstay is the only foundation I ever use. It is quick and easy to apply and I use my fingers to apply it like you do. Sponges waste product. It has better staying power then any foundation I have ever used, even the expensive ones. When used with a primer and powder, it does not budge, even if I sleep in it! It makes my skin look flawless and controls oil and shine really well. One other plus is that it is a very close match for my skin tone, I use the 200 nude and I love it because it matches my skin tone perfectly. I hope it never gets discontinued because I cannot live without the stuff!
I used to use it all the time and have recently considered repurchasing as it happens. It can look cakey and if your skin is very oily I find it can seperate a bit on your skin but for the most part it's very good x
I know, I'm such a winge haha but seriously did you watch til the end 'cause that's what i have to try and correct in editing. I threw out so much footage before I learned I could alter colour!
Hi! I have to say I just recently found your channel and I'm loving it! It seems like your favorite products to try out are foundations (and base products in general), and I absolutely LOVE this kind of product. Also, love that you focus on cheaper brands. I do think there are awesome things for reasonable prices and you don't have to spend so much to look great. Nice channel!
not at all cakey on me but I've heard people describe it as that. It's my opinion that that's down to application as certain brushes give a much thicker coverage! x
I use the same brush for my powder! Love it, really stops me from looking cakey! My skin is very undecided these days too :( thought I was dry but just started my make up artistry course and found out I'm actually sensitive oily so have to rethink all my skin care and makeup choices! Thats why I love your videos, you cover all options! xx
I have tried the Revlon Colorstay a couple of times and did not like the way it applies at all. It may be the way I apply it. Still sitting in my drawer, I may have to pull it out again and try applying it with my fingers or with the beauty blender. Keep doing what you are doing and remember you can never please everyone all of the time. Haters are gonna just try to get to you. I dont comment often but enjoy watching you. From Canada
I haven't tried those, they're the vegan ones, am I right? I think they're essentially the same as the ones I have just softer from what I've heard but yes I will film a collection soon x
Hi, I use this foundation, and its amazing if you have oily skin or combination skin. If your skin is slightly dry the foundation will cling to the dry areas and won't look to good. Coverage is pretty good especially if you layer it a bit ( dont worry it wont go cakey).I love it so much, definatley get it while on offer! Hope this helps?
I love your videos!! It's so hard to find a person who makes budget type make up , they don't think about people who don't wanna/can't splurge on high end products, it annoys me so. Thank you!!!!! ^_^
What will help your colour balance problem for when filming...set your 'white balance' to auto and then before you film, hold a plain piece of white paper up to your camera for about 10 seconds. You also might be having trouble because you film in artificial light then back into real light so your camera will get confused. Hope this helps x
I have to split it in to loads of clips and adjust the colours as the lighting constantly changes.. i wont film in here very often until I have a light box x
i love the penny drop sound at the beginning, very in keeping with the budget beauty theme :) and your self imposed semi- spending ban :) im sure that was the intention tho lol xx
I have combination skin too and the oil free garnier bb cream also broke me out :( I love it so much! I never would have guessed that the alcohol may have triggered it
Someone asks me if I've tried something and I say no I have no need to try that at the moment 'cause I have enough and I am rude? This is the perfect example of 'you can't please everyone'. If I responded to few or no comments I would be considered rude but i take the time to respond briefly to everyone and I'm still rude.
just goes to show how different everyone is, that your top 5 are ones that I absolutely hate! I must have spent a fortune on drugstore foundations, might as well have just bought high-end xx
you should try the collection 2000 lasting perfection foundation( the one in the glass packaging) i've been using it for the last year and its bloody amazing! i could'nt live without it now:) btw great video! x
i think you should try the garnier bb cream, its really good and its $10 at walmart and last a really long time. but if you want something more affordable try the rimmel london clean finish, at walmart its only $4 and its also really good :)
I recently bought the 17 Miracle Matte foundation, but I couldn't apply it evenly as it went 'bitty' like with the Natural collection foundations. I tried using a sponge, brush and my fingers but no luck. Could you please please please do a video of how you apply the 17 foundation? xx
Hey,Im thinking about buying a set of sigma brushes and am currently leaning to the Mrs. Bunny set....Did you try this set? I would love to see a brush collection!! :)
Thanks so much :) its a nightmare trying to find a foundation that will actually stay on my skin and look nice the one im using at the minute is awful if its been on for a while it dries in patches on my face an it seems to oxcidize on my face its awfull but looks like i may have to take the plunge and try Revlon Colourstay
I know this is kinda Off topic BUT have u tried the real techniques brushes? and if so what do u hink about them i want to go buy some but their pretty expensive here in australia and i dont wanna pay an arm and a leg for mac so i was wondering if their any good quality ? Thank u xox
I've got combination skin an everyone ive used either makes me look oily or dries in patches on my face, is there any that you would reccomend that have a good coverage, stays put and actually looks nice but isn't super expensive??? xx
Have you tried any of the new no 7 foundation range they have a good beautifully matte one and a stay perfect one which are both good for combination skin
What do you think of the Maybelline Dream Matte Mouse foundation ? :-) I was thinking about buying it while boots still have the 2 for a tenner thing going on!
I want to try revlon colourstay but i only wear foundation for special occassions or nights out where pictues are taken, would i be better off buying the photo ready instead? x
Ive got a night out soon and Im looking for another Nude coloured lipstick but nothing too pricey that I can get here in the UK. Im looking for something that will last as long as possible that I dont have to re-apply too much. Can you recommend anything?
I honestly need a better foundation i just feel nervous to take the plunge and spend so much on one when i may not like it or it may not do anything for my skin :/ xx

yes! The original is a shade or two darker, the oil free is lighter and generally better in my opinion
you have to try it it's awesome! Even if you just save it for nights out or heavy coverage days it's so worth trying!
I used to use it all the time and have recently considered repurchasing as it happens. It can look cakey and if your skin is very oily I find it can seperate a bit on your skin but for the most part it's very good x

You are the best thing on RUclips, seriously, I don't know what I'd do without your advice and knowledge now!
This is the first video i ever watched of yours when i was looking for a new foundation and have been subbed ever since, love your videos so much x

aww no but thank you for saying so x
I haven't tried those, they're the vegan ones, am I right? I think they're essentially the same as the ones I have just softer from what I've heard but yes I will film a collection soon x

thank you!! and i hope you find a way to make it work for you because i love it x
If as ammyyyx suggests, my response was rude, I apologise x
colorstay does a formula for oily skin.. be cheeky and fill a sample pot at boots to try at home!
As always, I love your vids :) Just wondered if you remember what eyeshadows you used, and if you would do a tutorial? Simply love your look. :)
I totally forgot to say in the video but they do a formula for dry skin and one for oily/combo x
I have been alternating between my clean and clear and a thicker formula 'cause I can't find one I love that does both x
I have combination skin too and the oil free garnier bb cream also broke me out :( I love it so much! I never would have guessed that the alcohol may have triggered it
Your skin looks amazing! I really want to try the colourstay but I'm worried they won't have it pale enough xx
I used a taupe quad from the new elf essentials.. I forget the name but I reviewed it on my blog recently x
Could you add what shade you are for each of these in the description box for reference please? Very helpful video.

I thought you were wearing foundation when the video started! You have flawless skin :)
Sorry if this is a really annoying question but what camera do you use? I love your video's, such good tips, glad I subbed! :)
Yay! Video in your makeup room :) xx
I know what you mean.. I have a drawer full and although I only bought them from boots there's probably £150 wasted!
Do you always do your makeup before your foundation? I heard it is better for the eyeshadow application :)
aww thanks x
Hey,Im thinking about buying a set of sigma brushes and am currently leaning to the Mrs. Bunny set....Did you try this set? I would love to see a brush collection!! :)
