Song and beautiful christmas decorations (particularly the little harps ornaments hanging in the tree...🎄) certainly created an atmosphere! I wonder if sometime in the future you would have interest to play with your harp "A Mighty Fortress Is Our God", by Martin Luther - it has such powerful lyrics and melody...🎶 P.S.: I wish you a New Year as pleasant as the music you play. I'm so grateful for it...🤗
I love "A Mighty Fortress is Our God!" I have an arrangement started and have revised it several times, but it doesn't feel right yet. I will have to keep working at it, or waiting until inspiration strikes. My harp Christmas ornament collection owes much to my first harp teacher, who gave me an ornament for Christmas almost every year. Additions come every so often from students and others. By the end of my life maybe I'll have enough to decorate an entire tree with only harps. I like the idea.
@@StephanieClaussen Lovely image: an entire tree decorated with harps! And how kind of your first harp teacher to start (unknowingly) your collection. I gather "A Mighty Fortress is Our God" might not be easy to set for harp, but I'm sure you will do it successfully. By the way, days ago I had a 'sound bathing' in the evening discovering some pieces I've never listened to before and am leaving two links that might interest you: one is a rendition of "Winter" (from Vivaldi's Four Seasons) - ruclips.net/video/g7bHwGA5Mtk/видео.html - arranged and played for harp by Josh Layne (love the expression in his face, at times, as he plays) and a lovely rendition of "Sugar Plum Fairy", by GlassDuo (ruclips.net/video/QdoTdG_VNV4/видео.html) with their very own 'Glass Harp' made out of custom made wine 🍷🍷glasses. Tin-tin! 🥂 (And may those pieces serve as inspiration to you.)😊
FROM SHIVERING , BLUSTERY COLD TO SPARKLING , SUNNY WEATHER ; AN INDIAN SUMMER ? NO!!! A HARP , SOFT MELODY AND THE PLAYER WITH A WARM , BRILLIANT SMILE!!!V.W.
Lovely. I've always loved that tune. And harp is still the most beautiful of instruments. Thank you. Very charming. Merry Christmas!
Just lovely! Thank you.
Beautiful arrangement. Your book of Christmas songs is also a favourite.
Thank you - that's lovely to hear!

My mom used to always make some sort of tropical dessert to mark the winter solstice, to remind us that the days get longer from there on out.
So lovely! It's 11F/ -12C out but -5F/-21C with wind chill, so the title definitely caught my eye 😁❄️🌨️ Stay warm everybody! ☺️ And merry Christmas! 🎄
A good day to stay inside! Merry Christmas to you too.
@@StephanieClaussen Thanks! ❄️😀⛄
Thank you for this lovely morning piece. Cold with snow on the ground here on Reno, Nevada so this is perfect to keep the winter coziness going. 🎄❤️

Very nice....I think it was the hand hitting the wood on the last song/piece you played that I did not like.
