They did a spin off with Gary and Valene with Knotts Landing. It would have been interesting to see what they could have done with a Lucy spin off. They left it open for one when Lucy and Mitch moved down to Atlanta. So much they could have done the two characters. Serious character development could have taken place.
Why didn't they bring in Lucy to do something?! Maybe she went to law school? Opened her cosmetics business? Had twins. Mitch became a gambler and lost her fortune? Anything!
The first TV movie (JR Returns) was alright, but this one was....bleeh. Still I wish they didn't retcon out of existence the plotlines of these 2 TV movies when they made the new Dallas series starting 2012. There were some interesting things which came out of these stories.
Why in the world did they use opening credits template from the last two seasons of the original series for the two reunions, instead of the iconic ones from the first 12 seasons?
I always Loved the Dallas theme song. Plus, when you heard it, you knew you were in for an hour of amazing drama.
Dang Bobby aka Patrick Duffy still looks dam for a 73 year old man hell yeah he always a gorgeous man wasn't he?
Thank you very much for uploading this video so that we can see it whenever we are confined to staying at home during this quarentine as much as possible.
This theme song brings back plenty of fond memories of when I was much younger and boy did I enjoy watching "DALLAS" very much.

This is the classiest "DALLAS" theme that there was that ran from 1977 to 1991 plus 1 prequel movie and 2 sequel movies of the original version of "DALLAS".

This clearly is one of the best variations of the melody, maybe the best. Uptempo and fun! 👍

Totally, even in the Dallas 2012 revival, they never said what Lucy did in the 20 years. Did she ever re-marry? Have kids? Get a career?
