What's the most common question a fertility doctor gets from patients when they are trying to conceive?
WAIT a minute ... let's flip that script.
Dr. Aimee says the real question should be "What questions should you be asking your fertility doctor? Number one is what is my diagnosis?"
If your doctor comes back and says," Your diagnosis is unexplained."
You just say, "Stop. Hold on. Doctor Aimee says there's no such thing that unexplained really means untested or unexplained means. You just didn't explain it enough."
Just give them the list.
Do you think I have
endometriosis
DOR
adenomyosis
uterine septum
sperm issues
implantation issues.
So that's how you can come up with a treatment plan, and then you're gonna know what your prognosis is.
Then ask, "What are the different treatment options that you think are going to be the best for me based on my diagnosis and what is my pregnancy chance per treatment?"
And tell your doctor, "I also want to make sure you know how many children I want and when I would like to have them so that you can help me create the best fertility plan."
