Local administration was more concerned about reopening the road than finding missing human beings. Untill Kerala media & people created a ruckus these govt officials were just going thru the motions. Lost precious time in the initial 2-3 days. Shame.

The authority was having poojas in order to land massive machines to dig mud from river the MLA leaded this poojas while a many where buried dead or alive beneath that soil with their vehicles
